Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2004
Very simple and fun to make. All of my guests loved them. Using the styrofoam makes it a little messy, but it looks a lot better than just laying them on wax paper.

Tastes great! I actually used provolone instead of swiss and it still had a very nice taste.

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2004
These cookies tasted great! They are very sweet, but not too sweet. I followed the recipe exactly except I did not use walnuts. I did not find them too cakey like others seemed to find them. I cooked them for 11 minutes and they came out perfect!

Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2005
This recipe was great! I used 7 small potatoes instead of 4 big ones only because thats what I had on hand. I also used a taco cheese blend instead of just chedder. If you like a little spice this recipe is perfect.

Death by Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2005
This recipe wasn't horrible, but since we didn't have a deep fryer we just fried it in a pan. The sandwich was way too soggy and we had to eat it with a fork since it was so heavy. It sounded great, maybe if we had a deep fryer it would have come out differently.

Spaghetti Casserole I

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
This tasted very bland, it was not a success in our household. I tried the "Italian" recipe. It may be better with some chopped black olives in the mixture as well as some breadcrumbs on top. If I ever make this again I think I will mix the spaghetti in with the turkey mixture and then bake it all together, instead of the spaghetti on top.

Pork Chops in Beer

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
This was pretty good. It was very dry though, next time I will cook it for half the time. I marinated the pork in the sauce for an hour before I cooked it which really helped with the flavor.

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: May 11, 2006
Very good! It had a nice flavor and came out very tender. We cooked it at 350 degrees for 30 minutes instead of 424.

Pork Chop and Feta Skillet

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
These were amazing. Instead of feta cheese I added sundried tomatoes on top. I also added fresh basil instead of dried basil. The pork was really juicy and flavorful.

Asparagus Guacamole

Reviewed: May 25, 2006
I really liked this recipe. It turned out to be a very light tasteful dip. I added some extra spices such as black pepper, red pepper, hot sauce and then tomatoes. It may be great with some fat-free sour cream as well.

Chicken or Turkey Tetrazzini Deluxe

Reviewed: May 27, 2006
I loved this recipe! I made a healthier version with 98% fat free cream of mushroom, fat-free cheese and butter, low fat parmeson(only 1/4 cup), Italian bread crumbs. I did not use the cooking sherry or the peas and I cut down on the water.

Chicken Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2006
I tried something a little different with this. I am on a low-fat diet, so I used 2 tablespoons of Italian Pesto salad dressing(instead of the feta cheese) and then 1/4 cup of fat-free Italian dressing. I also added garlic powder, red pepper flakes, black pepper and basil to the pasta. The recipe tasted great even without the feta and parmesan cheese.

BBQ Chicken Salad

This recipe is great! I only added a half can of corn and I did not add as much celery and onion as the recipe suggested. It tasted great on toasted bread.
