Easy Sugar Cookies

I found this recipe a while back when I was looking for something quick with only a few ingredients. I was not expecting them to be one of my favorite cookies. I have made then several times now and they always turn out great. The dough seems a little crumbly, but it never shows in the final product. I like to press them in colored sugar sprinkles before baking. I have had many compliments on these and they have been snatched up real quick at school bake sales. Thanks Stephanie for the great recipe!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Not "The Best". I was very disappointed with this recipe. I am trying to make them for a Valentine's Party for my child's class but I am going to have to run by the store and pick up something else now that I am out of time. The dough is way too sticky. I put it in the refrigerator over night and it is still very difficult to work with. I finally got a few funky shaped ones onto the pan and they came out puffy and even more out of shape. The worst part about them is they have no taste. They are very similar in texture and taste to a pancake. As I have now gone through the other reviews I am disappointed by the high ratings considering that most everyone had to alter their recipes by adding more flour or sugar. I am very disappointed that I have spent so much time on these and they were a flop. I wish I would have used my old favorite "Easy Sugar Cookies" submitted by Stephanie. They have great flavor and texture. They are drop cookies, but hey, they would have turned out!

Texas Sheet Cake V

This cake is delicious. I don't normally like cake but this one is fabulous. I made it quite a few times. It gets requested often. If I don't have sour cream available I have used applesauce in it's place and it tastes just as good.

Blue Ribbon Overnight Rolls

These rolls are to die for. I didn't make them overnight because I never plan that far in advance, I think four hours is plenty of time for the dough to rise. I also put butter over the top of them right when they come out of the oven and they don't need anything else. They got snatched right up.
