Sweet-Sour Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
This is very tasty, my sister made it for our father's day celebration. It's just as good the next day. Since she used veganaise instead of mayo, we had a vegan version and no one even knew the difference!

Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
These beans were absolutely delicious. I used fresh and added a tablespoon of water to make up for the frozen ice crystals. I cooked until many of the beans were starting to brown. So good, I can't imagine I won't make this all the time.

Mashed Potato Layer Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2008
Um, yeah. I probably about doubled the cheese cuz I always do. Mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, and cheese. The only way it would be better is if we found some way to add chocolate to it. Everyone liked this one. I did have to add a little milk to the white potatoes so they wouldn't be dry.

Cheesy Zucchini Bites

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
These were very tasty. Because we don't have great tomatoes yet I also added a tiny bit of spaghetti sauce before adding the cheese. Loved these, I'll make them again today. Thanks for the recipe!

Curried Zucchini Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2007
YUM! I doubled the curry (my curry powder might be old, so taste first) and added a 14 oz can of diced tomatoes. Delicious! Thank you!

Chickpeas in Tomato Sauce With Feta and Wine

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2007
The ingredients sounded strange to me... but since I had a huge amount of feta on hand I decided to try it. I used seasoned diced tomatoes and didn't drain them. I have to say this was quite good over rice! Thanks for the recipe!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
This is so good I can't even pretend I can eat jar alfredo sauce again. I didn't have parmeson or gruyere so I used fontina, and it's so good I'd be afraid to change it. Added extra garlic, because that's what I like. Very good, thank you!

Cheesy Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2006
This is delicious and easy. You can adjust the stuffing according to what you have on hand. I like to change types of cheese as well, depending on what's in the fridge. Thanks!

Eggplant Bake

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2006
This was very tasty even though I had to use different cheeses. Love it. Next time might try it with a marinara sauce on top. I did fry the onion and tomato before adding to the baking dish. Eggplant takes lots of oil to fry, so I alternated between oil and cooking spray. Thanks!

Eggs with Tomatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2006
I have to admit I thought this sounded really strange, but I had a lot of tomatoes so I tried it anyway. Turned out to be quite good. I didn't have enough tomato paste so I used some home-made spaghetti sauce and it was very tasty. Thanks!

Frozen Peanut Butter Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
This was a huge hit. Everyone loved it. Next time I'll use one of those prepared chocolate graham cracker crusts because the chocolate chips harden so much in the freezer, although my brother-in-law will be disappointed because that was his favorite part!

This really does taste like pumpkin pie! My daughter loved it. She loves her carrots plain anyway, but this is great for a treat! Thank you!

Best Black Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2006
These taste great and are so easy! I had to double the recipe so I ended up using one can of black and one can of kidney beans. Also added a can of diced tomatoes and a half a can of corn. Upped the cilantro to about a cup (my roomie LOVES cilantro) and added a bit of cumin. Very good! Thank you!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
Very easy and delicious. Works best if you knead the dough with your hands rather than mix with a spoon. Next time I'll probably roll in cinnamon sugar before baking. Very good!

Mushroom Stuffing Balls

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2006
Delicious. I also used minced garlic rather than powdered. Ended up using only about 1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs and they turned out delicious. I used portabellos and didn't have parmesan so used what cheese was on hand. Very very good. Thank you!

Corn Casserole I

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2006
Made this for a father's day barbeque and everyone loved it. I even used fat free sour cream (I normally wouldn't but that's what my dad had on hand) and it was still very good. Thank you!

Kerry's Beany Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2006
Delicious. This was a big hit at the father's day barbeque. I used 1 cup of rice as I didn't have the other grain and half the chili powder as my mother hates spices. When I make it at home I'll use all the chili. Very good. Thanks!
