About this Cook
I learned to cook 4 years after I got married. I was having our first baby and my husband told me that I had to learned to cook now that we were having a family. So he bought me a cookbook and I learned to cook from that. Through the years I became a great cook. I have been cooking for 50 years.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything, but I do Mexican food that is what I do best. I make it all from scratch. I also have learned to cook German food, I really enjoy cooking German for my family and friends.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Breakfast, up side down apple pecan pie, eggnog cake, turkey and sage dressing
My cooking triumphs
up side down apple pecan pie, I get orders for them all the time. Everyone loves then, people who are not bakers always ask me to make them pies and cakes.
My cooking tragedies
When I first got married I tryed to make soup and it was terrible so I took it out side and dug a hole and put it in the hole and covered it up, so my husband wouldn't know what I did. After I learned to cook I know what I did, I didn't put salt and pepper in it. We still laugh about that.

Monkey Bread I
I made it this morning, I put into it 1/4 tsp. cloves and I used pecans. I used only 2 packs of butter milk biscuits and it was wonderful!! It was to much for my husband and I so I shared it with my neighbor. She called me and said it was awesome and her husband said get that recipe. Thanks LuAnn for sharing this wonderful recipe.-beveri15

Whipped Cream Filling
I made this yesterday in a chocolate fudge cake for my 2 grandson's birthday, they loved it. I will make this filling for all my cakes, cream puffs, and eclairs and anything else that needs a cream filling. Thank you for this recipe I have others but this one is the best.
