Easy and very tasty! Will probably add a little minced onion and garlic powder to the mixture next time.

Rainbow Clown Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2012
I used 8oz jelly jars (sprayed inside with pan coating) and filled them 1/2 full using teaspoons. I then set the jars in a lasagna pan and filled the bottom with 1/2 inch of water. Bake about 50 minutes (or when toothpick comes out clean) The kids LOVED them!

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
Didn't really follow the recipe...but making my potatoes ahead and keeping them hot was worth the 5 stars! Really helped me on Thanksgiving! Thanks for the great idea! Will definitely try the recipe soon though!

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
WOWZA!! This pie was AWESOME! The Sweetened condensed milk made the pumpkin filling decadent but the topping turned the same ole pumpkin pie into a star! I followed the recipe exactly except I used pecans instead of walnuts. I thought for sure that there was going to be too much of the streusel topping but it was just the right amount. If you like a little crunch you are going to love this! This is definitely going to be part of my Thanksgiving every year now! Thanks Brown Family=)

Zucchini Bread IV

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
Very good and very moist. I took the advice of others and used 1/4 cup applesauce plus a 1/4 cup of sour cream with 1/2 cup oil....instead of the 1 cup oil! I also used the "streusel topping" because I personally LOVE crispy tops on anything! Be aware though that the streusel recipe makes WAY more than you need. I doubled the bread recipe and still had streusel left over! It DID add a nice crunchy texture to the top! Hubby and I give both the bread and the topping an A+

Philly Cheese Steak Pizza

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
I thought this needed a little "sauce" so I got a jar of Ragu Roasted Garlic Parmesean and spread onto the crust. I totally omitted the Italian dressing and also sauted mushrooms for my DH side of the pizza. IT WAS AWESOME!!

Scrumptious Beef and Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
After reading all of the good reviews I was shocked at how much I did not like this. It was edible but too bland and I think a more beefy mushroom gravy would be way better than this white.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
I am not a big cauliflower fan but this was great! The only thing I did different was add about a cup of shredded cheddar for the last 10 minutes of bake time. YUM!

Crazy Good Stuffing and Baked Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
The stuffing was amazing! I used bone in chops because that was all I had...not the best thing to do. We had to scrape the stuffing off so we could see where to cut the chop. Very tasty though...I will make again with boneless chops as the recipe calls for.

Steakhouse Black Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
OMG!! These were AMAZING! I type with sticky fingers after polishing off a roll topped with honey butter=) Hubby made this recipe and made rolls instead of loaves. No bread machine..just mixed with dough hooks, proofed to double, punched down and made into rolls, proofed again and baked! Keeping this one!

Fruit Cocktail Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2010
I'm sorry to say that the only good thing about this cake is that it's moist. No one mentioned if you should drain the fruit cocktail so I didn't...I think you are supposed to. My "batter" was so thin...that I added another 1/2 cup of flour. It still seemed really thin but I didn't want to add too much. I let it bake 10 minutes longer than stated. It came out as a wet banana bread texture. Taste??? Not so much:( I added cinnamon as suggested by another reviewer...but it only tasted like cinnamon and brown sugar. I was expecting more like a pineapple upside down cake flavor but it just wasn't there! Sorry=)
