About this Cook
I like to take alot of my tex-mex skills to good use. The spicer the better. Love to cook and Love to learn more about cooking. Never afraid the try things aleast once.
My favorite things to cook
I like to try to make every dish into a low carb one. So I pretty much love to cook anything and to change to fit my life style.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family cooking tradition come from a Tex-Mex back ground. Alot of tortillas and beans. Which I had to change but I don't do without.
My cooking triumphs
My biggest cooking triumphs would have to be cooking great meals and loseing weight in the process. Enjoying the fruits of life and a healthy lifestyle.
My cooking tragedies
In my teenage years on a summer day. My mother gave me a task of watching a pot of beans. Which I totaly forgot about 10 minutes after the instructions were given to me. About 2 hours later I smelled the most aweful smell known to man coming from the kitchen. The beans were burned into the bottom of the pan. So my bright idea was to add 2 cups of water, thinking the water would fix the beans before my mother would come home. Lets just say the beans nor I had the greatest of nights.

Baked Mushrooms
This is a fanstatic recipes. It was a huge hit at a family dinner. I made one great change, I drained the excess water after mushroom were done then I put 1 cup of Mozzorella cheese on top and baked until cheese melted.

Razors Carne Guizida
It was good but could have been better. I reduced the ingredents to 1 pound of meat and 1 can of tomatoes and peppers. Plus I add a tsp of corn starch to thicken the gravy.

Key Lime Pie - Low Carb Version
This was good for a low carb dessert. I added some whipped heavy cream (0g carbs) on top of each piece, it added little more taste. Next time I'll try cherry jello and have me a "New York cheese cake with cherries" favorite!
