Jordyn is now 16 months old and life is getting busy. I feel the need to simplify life and get organized. I have always used the old paper and pen method of meal planning for years - it's always seemed easier for me to hang it on the fridge and remind
me whats for dinner but I think it's time for an update and since it's a paid thing and I'm frugal I know I will force myself to use it!
My plan is to add recipes to my "recipe box" in my free time through out the week and then Thursday to assemble my meal plan for the next week based on items avalible in my house, what's on sale at our local Mrs' Greens organic supermarket or Superstore PC
Organic's brand and then to do a complete shop for the week on Friday evening; blogging about it on Friday evening or Saturday. My goal is always to create healthy mostly organic meals on a budget of $100 dollars a week for a Family of 2.3 people! *this include
everything! even Jordy's soy milk, diapers and wipes! Realistically I spend 125 a week but I know if I aim for 125 it will end up being 150+.
Each week I will share with you my plan, my shopping lists and my receipts!
