Habanero Hellfire Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
This was excellent! Being Norwegian I had to use only half the chilies, and it was still hot enough for us. I also added a bit of salt and sugar, but other than that I followed the recipe more carefully than I normally do, and it came out just right!

Grilled Scallops

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
I didn't grill the scallops, I fried them in a pan, but we thought the marinade/saus was pretty good.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2007
I found it rather bland, something was missing, but I don't know what. I reduced the amount of salt, and added a bit of tomato puré and some Tandoori paste. But the kids liked it, even though they said it was not quite as good as at our local tandoori restaurant. ** changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars after reheating it the next day. The taste of the sauce was quite delicious then!

Too bland and boring. Like white gravy with corn...

Pork Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2007
Incredibly bland! It's been simmering for two hours now, and tastes like... well, tomatoes! Gonna have to try to rescue the pork by spicing the whole thing up as best I know how...

Mexican Corn

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2007
Love this recipe! Living in Norway, I use a lot less chili (since most people here are not used to really spicy food). I also use jarred, sliced jalapeños, and add some salt, pepper and whatever I feel like.

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
Lovely! It's my first time making pesto. Used walnuts instead of brazil nuts, and added a bit more oil.

Cajun Style Corn Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2004
Love this recipe, great success with all my friends. I add two cubes of broth in the water, which makes it a bit richer. I also use slighty less garlic, but add som extra chili. Serve it with hot bread and butter.
