Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! These are wonderful! Great light cookie full of flavor. I added a tsp of almond extract to give it a small extra kick.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These turned out wonderful! After reading about those that found it too soft and breaking apart it seemed that it only happened to those that used all butter rather than 1/2 butter 1/2 shortening. So I keep with the 1/2 c butter and 1/2 cup butter flavored shortening. I didn't have clove seasoning, so I used nutmeg. Do to some of the comments about lack of flavor, I did up the cinnamon to 2 tsp and a full tsp of nutmeg (in replace of the cloves). Also, I only baked them for 8 minutes (9 minutes for the larger size.)
