Pan-Seared Chicken Breasts with Shallots

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2006
What an easy and delish recipe. The whole thing took about 35 min. I followed some reviewers advice and flattened the chicken breasts and also used 1 tbsp of corn starch to thicken the sauce. I added about 1/2 cup of capers and it was fantastic. My hubby LOVED, Thanks!!

Very good - easy to make. Even my SUPER PICKY 5 yr old ate these. I added swiss cheese and used the "cheater" method. Thanks!!

Berry-Filled Doughnuts

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2006
We have been making these for years. They are so easy to make and lots of fun(esp with little kids). We also make the plain version ... use a soda bottle cap to cut a hole in the middle of the biscuit and then fry. After cooking, put them in a brown paper bag (the bag will absorb extra oil) with sugar and cinnamon and let the kids shake away. Fry the "holes" too, the kids think they are munchkins. This is always fun to do on snowy winter nights or for sleep-overs!!

Frogmore Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2006
I made this for a big family dinner with my relatives from Maryland (who are self proclaimed seafood experts). Everyone at the party had rave reviews and wanted the recipe. I made it exactly as written and it makes a TON of food. With 7 people we only managed to eat about a third of it and we had some guys here that can really put away the seafood. :) Thank you so much for this recipe. It is wonderful and super easy to make!! 10 ********** Stars!!

Zesty Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2006
These are really good! Great for a quick fix dinner night. I used ground turkey and replaced 1 can of tomato sauce with petite cut diced tomotoes with garlic and olive oil for a little extra kick. Served with french fries and a good 'ole iceberg lettuce salad. Tastes great and a fun night with the whole family at the table. ;)

Pumpkin Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2006
This got 50/50 reviews by my guests. Half loved it the other half said OK but not fantastic. IMO, the pumpkin pie layer overshadowed the cheesecake layer and it was kinda like why not just save the tremendous amount of fat and calories and have regular pumpkin pie.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2006
This was great! We don't usually like to mix fish and cheese but it was very light and not over-powering at all. I will definately make it again. Plus there is a lot of room to "play" with the recipe to change it up a little!

Very Good - I added a little extra of each of the spices and used Morton Hot Salt to replace the salt. My hubby LOVED them! Thank you!

Slow Cooker Fifteen Bean Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
Good recipe. I used 1 and 1/2 bags of beans and after about 3.5 hours, I took 4 cups of the beans and veggies and put them in the blender to make the soup a little less brothy and a little thicker like I like my bean soups. Make sure to adjust the chili powder to your liking. I served this with home made french bread from the bread machine and a small salad. It was a great autumn comfort food dinner!! Thank You~~

Not one of my all-time favorite recipies but not bad either. Very easy to make and the ingredients are usually on hand so I may try to play with it a little.

OMG!!! This is the world's BEST Salmon recipe. It is VERY easy to make and I felt like a gourmet chef serving it. My only change was to use panko breadcrumbs and add a squeeze of lime before baking. Yummy!!

Amazing White Clam Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
I was really not that thrilled by this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly and it tasted like red pepper flavored cream. My hubby said it was OK but he would not be upset if I didn't make it again. OOh well back to my search for a super white clam sauce recipe. :(

Italian Wedding Soup I

Reviewed: May 15, 2006
YUMMY, Fast and very simple to make. My hubby is 100% Italian and says that this tastes almost like his mom made for him as a boy. I have made this recipe a few times now and it is always good. I have tried using pre-made turkey meatballs (for a more weight watchers friendly meal) and it is still 5 stars in my book.
