DELICIOUS, JUST LIKE MY MOM USE TO MAKE. ONLY THING IS I USED APPLE CIDAR VINEGAR, AND DIDN'T COOK THE POTATOES LONG ENOUGH. THEY WERE STILL HARD. BUT I ADDED A LITTLE WATER AND MORE VINEGAR AND COVERED IT. LET IT SIMMER TILL THE POTATOES WERE SOFTENED. PERFECTION!!!! THANK YOU

Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
THIS WAS GOOD, WE ALL LIKED IT. ONLY THING WAS, I HAD TO DISCARD MOST OF THE OIL WHEN I FRIED THE CHICKEN PIECES. SEEMS TO BE TOO MUCH. THEY FRIED BETTER WHEN I GOT RID OF THE OIL. ONLY HAVING A LITTLE TO FRY IN. I WAS TASTY, BUT I DON;T THINK I'LL MAKE IT AGAIN IT TOOK TOO MUCH WORK AND EFFORT IN THE KITCHEN. THERE'S GOT TO BE SOMETHING EASIER.

All American Roast Beef

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
After having this, we bought a meat slicer. It comes out perfect...Just the right amount of cooking. My husband loved it so much...He passed a platter around the next day for our company of 5 to try...They had to have the recipe. He was so proud of the delicious meat I had prepared the night before.....NOW with the new slicer. We'll make it again and be able to slice it good as the deli for sandwiches through out the week...Thanks.

Italian Beef Hoagies

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
We loved these hoagies....I also cut the roast in half, and used only 1 packet of seasoning and 1 cup of water. Half the jar of peppers....They were incredible. When ready to eat, I placed the sandwiches on a baking sheet with the meat inside and added some swiss cheese on top. Broiled them only a few minutes. PERFECT!!! Will make them often. Thanks

Lemon Ginger Shrimp

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2007
I guess I just don't care for dried out, tough-to-chew- shrimp. It was tasty, but i won't make it again. Prefer my shrimp moist-melt in your mouth...I did baste it often as was directed....BUT it was pretty dried out...Not the way we like it.

This WAS the best.....I didn't have any celery salt, so I omitted that. Didn't even miss it. But everything else added, made this a wonderful meal. I used the brat buns, and everyone loved them. Very juicy and tender. The beans themselves were delicious added to the brats along with the tasty sauerkraut. With a little sweetness from the brown sugar....It made this a perfect meal.
