Megan's Granola

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2014
Great recipe. I halved it. Added about 1/3 cup,of sesame seeds. And omitted the walnuts. Love it with yogurt. Or over some cooked apples with a scoop of vanilla ice cream it's just like a super quick apple crumble :) yum!

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
Definitely needs more flavour. I even added 1/2 tsp nutmeg to the batter. When filling my muffin liners I put a medium scoop of batter then 1tbsp of my soupy cream cheese 'filling'.It spread out all over the batter. Then i added 1 more tbsp of muffin batter on top of the cream cheese. They baked up ok. the filling kind of disappeared. I think i'll try a different muffin recipe next time.

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
Great cake recipe! I made sure to beat the sugar and butter quite well like others suggested...looked like whipped fluffy butter...yum! The cake was very tasty and easy to make. eta: baked it in a 12" x 3" round for 1 hour at the same temp.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
Made this to go with dark chocolate cake 1 (from this site). I didn't have whipping cream so I used milk and it turned out fine. I did add about 1/3 c of butter. It was a bit soft at first but it was quite warm in my house. It was very tasty and went great with the cake!

Crisp Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
i thought this was a great recipe. my children and i did halloween cut outs! the only thing i added was about 1 tbsp of lemon zest (about 1/2 a lemon) i love that little flavour it gives. also we rolled the dough out between 2 sheets of parchment to avoid any sticking.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
WOW awesome recipe. I always use baking stones to bake my cookies, so i added a few more minutes to the cooking time. about 15-18 mins total. They also freeze well. I portioned out the cookie dough on a cookie sheet and froze them for about an hour then put them in a freezer bag. also you may want to add a minute or 2 if the dough is frozen. hope this helps...THANKS for a great recipe!
