Creamy Strawberry Crepes

These were great! I cut the powdered sugar back to about 1c and omitted the lemon juice and zest. I also used a different crepe recipe that calls for all milk (no water) and has baking powder.

Breadsticks with Parmesan Butter

These were great very much in texture and taste as Olive Garden. The only changes I made weere to half the recipe using only the yolk of the egg and leaving out the parmesan. Oh and I had these rising for dinner when something else came up. Punched it down and put in the fridge pulled out the next night to shape and cook.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

These were very good. I would say it makes 8 average sized muffins. Next time I will cut back the sugar at least to 1/2 cup these were very sweet for us. They were however, very moist. I used frozen berries and had no problem, just make sure not to over mix. Thanks for the recipe.

Chocolate Banana Bread

Very moist. I made a few changes based on personal preference but I don't think any of them would effect the original recipe. Instead of 1c butter I used 1/2c butter and 1/2c applesauce, cut the sugar by half and then did 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown.

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

This was great. Only used 3/4c of sugar and it was plenty sweet for our taste, only half the box of cake mix and I really think anymore would have been way too much, and about 1/3c of butter instead of 1c once it was cooked the butter had spread over the surface so there weren't any dry cake mix spots that some other reviewers have noted. Thanks for a new fall treat.

Dark Carrot Raisin Muffins

Meatball Nirvana

These were ok. I'm not sure what it was exactly but for us they tasted a little off with tomato sauce. I think they would be a better stand alone meatball. I cut the red pepper back by half and while it wasn't hot it did leave a after taste that I guess I'm not used to in meatballs.

Shanghai Noodle Salad

This was great.Only changes were to Udon noodles and add sriracha sauce. Oh I also grilled some pork chops and threw them in and julienned the veggies instead of matchstick.

Beer Sausage

Much to my kids dismay we will definitely be having this again.lol I did brown my keilbasa first and I used yuengling lager. I didn't really layer just threw it in the pot I do think enext time I would break up the cabbage a little. Over all it was exactly what I expected.

Taco Pizza

This was good but I have to say for all the work that went into making it, it didn't taste any better than Jimmy's Mexican Pizza from this site that takes like half the time and uses flour tortillas instead of pizza dough. It was a little bland for me other than salt but I imagine that was from the taco seasoning. The dough was also rather bland so if you have a favorite already I would stick with it. Over all tasty but won't be made here again.
