Grandma Johnson's Scones

This is a great recipe - with just a few changes. I cut the sugar down to 2/3c. I use currants or dried blue berries and fresh grated lemon peel or raspberried with white chocolate chips. I make them small (24 scones). You can put the dry ingredients and butter together the night before. It makes the last minute prep so much cleaner and quicker.

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies II

There cookies are wonderful. I formed them with an ice cream scoop and cooked a bit longer. Definitely let them cool on the cookie sheet or they will fall apart. Better and chewier the 2nd day.
