Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2009
This is THE best Peanut Butter cookie recipe!!! I did as other suggested and used an extra 1/2 cup of peanut butter & 1/2 cup extra of flour, plus 1 tsp vanilla. SO good... TOO good... I can't stop eating them, and I usually have enough after one cookie. Will definitely make these again... my kids, husband and daycare kids all enjoyed these. Thank you for an amazing recipe!

Easy Pavlova

Reviewed: May 18, 2005
WOW! The taste was WONDERFUL. Although I yook some others advice and reduced the sugar to 1 cup. Also also I placed a layer of bananas under the whip cream and used strawberries on top. Then I drizzled some chocolate syrup on top of everything. It looked wonderful! Was VERY easy to make! However, when I cut it into slices to serve, I was extremely disappointed that it was stuck to the parchment paper. It broke apart trying to pry it off the parchment, and looked like a gloopy mess on the serving plates. Does anyone have an idea why it stuck to the parchment?

Apple Cream Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2004
After reading the reviews I figured I would try this recipe. I put the filling into 2 pie shells. Had to bake the pies for an extra 15 minutes so that they would set. When I finally tried a piece.. I was VERY disappointed. I found that the pie had very little flavour. I will definitely stick to a more traditional pie. This was not worth using 2 cups of half and half cream which can be very costly where I live.

Philly Steak Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2004
WOW! This sandwich was AWESOME! It was exactly what I was lloking for. The only changes I made was to omit the marjoram and chili powder because I didn't have any. Also, I used mozzarella cheese. This sandwich is a new staple in our home. My husband was also VERY impressed. Thank you for this recipe.

Golden Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2004
My family LOVES this soup! Even my husband who hates soups. it has gotten to the point where he will call home and REQUEST Potato Soup for supper. The only change I make is to use bacon instead of ham. and we always sprinkle additional cheese, some green onions and a little extra bacon in each dish before serving. Very good!
