Essanaye's Sesame Beef Stir Fry

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2014
JUST MADE IT. I DOUBLED THE RECIPE. ADDED JAPANESE EGGPLANT TO THE AMOUNT OF MUSHROOMS I HAD TO MAKE UP 2 CUPS. ASPARAGUS IS TOO EXSPENSIVE SO I USED BOK CHOY. STIR FRIED THE BEEF AND VEGGIES SEPARATELY, ADDED THE BEEF IN EXTRA SAVED MARINADE WITH CORNSTARCH AND BAMB!!!

I DIDN'T HAVE 2 LBS OF GREEN BEANS, SO I CUT THE RECIPE IN 1/2. USED 1/2 ONION THE SAME AMOUNT OF GARLIC AND CAYENNE. A FRESH TOMATO HALF OF THE BROTH,ETC. IT WAS WONDERFUL! WORTH THE WAIT! I USED ONLY 3 STRIPS OF BACON BUT THE SMOKINESS AND FLAVOR OF THE BACON REALLY SHINES THROUGH! THANKS

Best Baconless Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2014
I HAVE MADE THIS RECIPE SEVERAL TIMES AND HUBBIE AND I LOVE IT! I HAD BALSAMIC VINEGAR AND USED THAT. TOASTED SUNFLOWER SEEDS AND PUMPKIN SEEDS FOR THE NUT ADDITION. I DOUBLED THE DRESSING IT ADDED MORE FLAVOR AND LESS DRYNESS. OTHERWISE THE RECIPE WAS AS WRITTEN. I THINK READING THE REVIEWS FIRST BEFORE MAKING THE RECIPE ON ALL SITES HELPS TO GET THE TRUE TASTE AND FEELING OF THE RECIPE GIVEN!

LIKED THE FLAVOR AND EASE OF MAKING IT. BUT, IT WAS WAY TOO SWEET! I THINK NEXT TIME TO CUT THE CONDENSED MILK TO 1/2 THE CAN,ADD MORE LEMON AND FREEZE IT.

Fluffy and Delicious Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2014
WANTED A GOOD PANCAKE RECIPE AND THIS FULFILLED OUR BEST EXPECTIONS. MADE IT EXACTLY THE WAY IT WAS WRITTEN. I HAVE PUT CINNAMON IN BOX PANCAKE MIXES FOR YEARS, GIVES THEM A CINNAMON ROLL KIND OF TASTE. MAYBE NEXT TIME I WILL LEAVE IT OUT TO TASTE THE PANCAKES A LITTLE MORE. WONDERFUL!!!

Dutch Babies II

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2014
I MADE IT A MINUTE AGO,LOVED THE FLAVOR. I DID ADD A THINLY SLICED APPLE WITH CINNAMON, VANILLA, AND NUTMEG. BUT, OTHER THAN THOSE ADDITIONS MADE IT LIKE THE RECIPE. YES, IT DID DEFLATE AFTER I GOT IT OUT OF THE OVEN, BUT WHO CARES! THE FLAVOR IS WHAT REALLY COUNTS!!!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2014
I MADE THIS LAST NIGHT. I USED 1LB. LEAN GR BEEF THE LARGER FOUR TORTILLAS, AND SALSA,OLIVES AND GREEN ONIONS ON TOP. BUT, EVERYTHING ELSE WAS THE SAME. I COOKED THE MEAT WITH ALL THE INGREDIENTS WITH BLACK BEANS AND COOKED IT DOWN TIL MOST ALL THE SAUSE WAS EVAPORATED. I PUT FOIL ON TO COVER IT, THEN LAST 15 MIN UNCOVERED IT. THE RECIPE DIDN'T SAY TO COVER OR UNCOVER. WE LIKED THE FLAVOR, ETC. BUT,THE TORTILLAS WERE A LITTLE DOUGHY. SO, NEXT TIME I WILL LEAVE IT UNCOVERED THE WHOLE TIME!

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2013
I MADE THESE AND THEY WERE VERY BLAND. I FEEL IT WAS BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SALT ADDED TO RECIPE. I COOK WITH UNSALTED BUTTER MAYBE THAT WAS WHY, BUT I FEEL ADD MAYBE, 1/2 TEASPOON OF SALT.
