I am a wife and a stay-at-home mommy. I am a CA girl, always! Though I live in UT now... UT is beautiful, but I crave for the diversity of my home-state! I miss my family and friends there very much! My favorite things to cook
Breakfast: I make delicious (and fattening) French Toast! Lunch: If you want a meat and cheese sandwich, don't come to me... It takes me about 15 minutes to create a perfect, hearty sandwich with all the fixings, and about 5 minutes to eat it. Dagwood would be proud! :oD
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am Hispanic, so I like to add a spicy kick to almost every dish I make. Watch Out-I have the habit of making very spicy dishes when I'm angry. If you can't stand the heat, don't tick-off the cook! ;o)
My cooking triumphs
I am becoming more comfortable in the kitchen, and getting more creative with meals, thanks to my husband. I am best at making breakfast, lunch and some desserts. I also love making appetizers, side dishes, pizza, casseroles, and dinner rolls.
My cooking tragedies
When it comes to making dinner... I am sometimes a little hesitant. I have the tendency to over-cook some meat because of the paranoia of not cooking it enough. Also, I have a difficult time rolling out dough for pastries or tortillas. Perhaps the hubby is right and I'm just too picky! I need to get out of my comfort zone...
