I made this recipe using Bisquick, 1 pound of mild sausage, and 1 pound of Colby-Jack cheese. At first there wasn't enough moisture in the mix so I added a bit of water as I was kneading the dough. I flattened out the dough by hand, added cooked sausage, and topped with shredded cheese, then begain rolling it all together until well distributed throughout. I baked half of the balls, and froze the rest. I have to agree that perhaps sharp cheddar would have been better, and also a medium-hot sausage for more flavor. At any rate, it was still VERY GOOD!

Vanilla Glaze

Excellent glaze for pound cake, donuts, etc... tastes like Krispy Creme donut glaze. I did use evaporated milk instead and had to add a little water to reach the right consistency. This one is the BEST, no doubt!

Crisp Oatmeal Cookies

I've made these cookies a few times now, trying different variations of adding white chocolate chips, raisins, nuts... and each time they've been perfect. I was looking for a recipe that produced a cookie with enough texture, but not too brittle or too soft. This is it! Great cookie.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

This is the BEST cookie recipe I've found for a textured cookie with nuts and chocolate. I used walnuts and pecans in it along with chipped white chocolate. I only had a 6-ounce bar but that was plenty for these cookies. My husband told me not to lose this recipe! I highly recommend it.
