Garlic Cream Sauce over Chicken Breasts

This is an outstanding recipe. I adjusted it for two, butterflied two breasts and cooked over real wood charcoal. The sauce takes this dish to a different level. Definitely a keeper. Thank you Kari for sharing!

Hot Water Pie Crust II

I've tried several pie crust recipes here and all have been good. But this one is really outstanding. It is very flaky as well as tasty. It also can handle a lot of abuse when making but still comes out perfect. I made it today for a Cherry/Blueberry pie from this site and it was super good.

Southwestern Beef Skillet

This is an excellent dish. I sautéed some onions and red bell pepper in the meat. That's the only change I made. Not only is this a very tasty dish, it also has eye appeal. Served with a fresh tossed salad with tomatoes direct from the garden.

Eggplant -- Easy, Good and Tasty

This is a great dish. First time ever to try egg plant but it won't be the last. I did as others suggested; bake plain for 10 minutes, then dip in wet mixture (egg, water, some garlic powder), then dry mixture (bread crumbs, cheese, red pepper flakes). Baked for another 8 minutes, then put sliced tomatoes on top and a little more cheese. Broiled for about 3 minutes until cheese was melted. Delicious. Did not use any dressing.

Banana Banana Bread

I've made this several times and for a beginner like me it is foolproof. I add about a cup of coarsely chopped toasted walnuts. Delicious and so easy to make. It is usually done at 50 minutes.

Cherry-Blueberry Pie

I made this today with Hot Water Pie Crust II recipe from this site and it was superb. Followed the recipe except baked it at 350 for 60 minutes. Not too tart or too sweet. Perfect.

Phoenician's Key Lime Pie

I made this yesterday following the directions with the exception of using Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice. This is a delicious pie, particularly the filling. The amount of sugar in the crust seemed to over power the taste of the crackers and almond blend. Next time I'll cut the sugar by half. This was in the frig a little over 24 hours and it set up perfectly. Be cautioned --- you cannot eat just one slice of this!!

Maple Dill Carrots

I don't like carrots but this was very tasty. Used baby carrots, real maple syrup and 3/4 teaspoon dried dill. This is a keeper.

Pork Tenderloin Diablo

I'm not a pork fan but this dish is outstanding. I left out the horseradish but the sauce was still plenty "diablo" for our tastes. Next time I'll double it. This method of cooking pork is amazing. Juicy and so tender you can cut it with a fork. Chef John, you are tops!

Baked Parmesan Tilapia

Chef John's Pumpkin Pie

This is an outstanding pie. I followed recipe except substituted 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves for the Chinese 5. My wife said this is much better than the recipe she's used for over 35 years. We liked the flavor and texture. And as advertised, no cracks. Mucho thanks to Chef John for this jewel.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Followed the recipe except used Mexican Corn Bread Mix. This gave it a little color and the perfect taste. It baked for about 60 minutes. My wife couldn't quit eating it. It really is 'awesome'.
