Pumpkin Bars I
I am a preschool teacher and I made these with the kid s.It is a very good recipe to make with kids, one mixing bowl and easy to make. We put in vanilla, to me everything almost needs van. and added more cinnamon. It is more cake like, then bars like everyone has said but I tell people that before I give them the recipe or give them the bars. At school we left out the nuts, since it's a nut free zone and I didn't use any frosting. They were a big hit, all the children asked me to give their parents the recipe. All the parents who tasted it, loved it. I'm making it for a potluck today and will add nuts but no frosting. It's easier and tastes good. One day I might try the choc. chips.

Ryan's Favorite Beans
I took a chance and made this for the first time for a pot luck. By the end of the night the beans were all eaten.People were saying how good they were and some asked for the recipe. It was a big hit.I'm going to make it for the next pot luck. It is easy to make.I put in another 1/2 c onions and next time will put more in.The same with the bacon, I took the advice of your readers and put in more bacon but next time I will make a whole pound and maybe add more beef.I found it was easier to cook the bacon after I cut it in half, then cooked it, since it wasn't a frying pan.I cooked it crispy. It was also easier to cook it after the pan was really hot and more bacon grease was in it after some bacon already cooked.I added a little more br. sugar, not a lot. The rest of the recipe I followed as it was written. It was delicious.

Peanut Butter Bars IV
I made this recipe with 4, four year olds and it was easy . We all loved them.I halfed the recipe and didn't put the choc. chips on top just baked it in. I misread it and put 3/4 cups chips in instead of halfing that also. I put in more vanalli. I was suprised that it didn't have anything to make them rise ,uncertain how that would work, but it was good.I put in 2 eggs instead of 1&1/2 We'd make it again.
