Easy Sour Cream Cheesecake

Recipe is great, but way too much vanilla if you are using any type of topping. Half it to one teaspoon if you are :) Otherwise, perfection! I always like the flavor of a dense cheesecake, but hated how thick and dry they were. This will give you that flavor with creaminess! Cooked for 15 minutes at 400, then 45 minute at 250. Cracked the door to the over for an hour, and then left in the oven overnight to cool, (approximately 8 hours,) and then refrigerated, YUMMY!

German Chocolate Cake Frosting

I couldn't find my recipe book, so I hopped on here thinking I could find one like my great grandmothers... I noticed the brown sugar, but thought "why not?" Decent enough to say not to try it, but not good enough for me nor even close to traditional! It tastes way more like caramel and less nutty/coconut as it should be. German chocolate cake icing should NEVER have brown sugar!!! That being said, you have to use way more nuts and pecan dust as well. Sorry, I will stick to my great grandmothers....

Fresh Tomato Salsa

I just want to state that this recipe has been in my recipe box for two years now... why? Because it is the best fresh salsa out there. For one, it is simple, you can add less or more to taste of any of the ingredients, or opt out of an ingredient if need be. My only suggestion is to be careful with the lime juice and salt; if you over-do either of them, you can ruin the entire salsa! I literally triple this recipe when I make it because we love it so much!! A+! I should have reviewed this a long time ago!

Easy Italian Sausage Lasagna

Well, there are a few issues with this recipe. For one, there is not enough sauce; you need about 2 26 ounce jars. I would also do at least 1.5 lbs of Italian sausage, or add half a pound of ground beef. Secondly, you need about 2 cups of ricotta, 2 eggs, and a cup of spinach chopped in the cheese mix; which can be omitted, but I like it for color.

Funnel Cakes IV

Oh My Lord.... I always loved going to county fairs; and theme parks.. the rides were great, but it was all about the funnel cakes for me. I haven't had them in years to be honest; who know they could be so easy to make at home by yourself! Thanks!!!

Pumpernickel Spinach Dip II

I love this recipe; only I have a lil twist, I either let all the pieces of the remaining bread sit out, and "stale" for a lil while; or I bake them just for 5 minutes, unitl they aren't as soft. Great recipe...
