Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2014
So good and so simple! You really don't have to change anything, they're just the right amount of fluffy and deliciousness! I use this recipe also to add mix ins like blueberries or chocolate chips. Perfect.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
I'm so happy I tried this lasagna. It is sooo good. I cooked my chicken with salt, garlic powder and italian seasoning and shredded it. I also did not realize I didn't have enough Mozzarella cheese so I used some provolone in the sauce and it was still good! I also mixed my spinach with the ricotta and chicken instead of doing separate layers. It does take some time and it is not a healthy dish in the least, so I don't see myself making it often. But when I do, I will sure be looking forward to dinner time!

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2013
These are very delicious...with modifications. First of all, yes it is too much filling. I actually made two batches of these with the filling for one. I cut the sugar down to 3/4 cup or even 1/2 and also added apricot jam after spreading the cream cheese layer. For the apricot ones, I omitted the cinnamon and sugar topping. For the plain ones I added lemon zest to the filling and did top with the sugar, just not as much as the recipe calls for. I think the recipe should really state to chill these before cutting into them. That's why people get a gooey mess. MUST CHILL! After that, they are simple to cut and stay together when biting into them. This is simple and yummy. Don't give up on it if it didn't turn out the first time, tweak it a little!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
This cheesecake needs no tweaking in the ingredients. At all. It's perfect as is. Of course you could top it with whatever you like, but the actual cheesecake part is so good. I've been making it for years and is my go to for New York style cheesecake.

Extreme Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
I made this cake for my sister's birthday, who is a baker. It was so delicious and she loved it! Perfect for the chocolate lovers. I made it exactly as the recipe states. The frosting made much more than needed but was super tasty. This was the first chocolate cake I ever made from scratch and it will be the only one I make.

Easy Pepperoni Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
This was good. I guess its not meant to be pizza but it just made me want some. Lol. I missed the sauce and would have made some to dip the pieces into but I didn't expect to need it. Next time I will make sauce, or just make a pizza! It was tasty though.

These are very good wings! I made them for a small gathering and everyone loved them and request them all the time now! I added 3 tablespoons of sriracha and lowered the sugar to 1/2 cup.

Japanese Potsticker Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2013
Oh my...this potsticker dip is amazing! I made it to go with regular frozen potstickers and it made them taste like restaurant quality! I didn't have chili oil so i used sesame oil instead and i also added chopped green onion and a tiny bit of grated garlic and ginger. Ok, so i completely changed the recipe...it's still good though!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2013
Ok so maybe someone can help me. First of all, these cookies are delicious! Soft on the inside but a little bit chewy on the outside. However, I did have a problem. They stuck like crazy to the cookie sheet! The recipe doesn't say to grease it, so i didn't. After seeing they stuck, I greased the cookie sheet but that didn't help either. I thought maybe I was letting them cool for too long but that also did not help. I would love to make these cookies again but can't stand to have the bottom stuck to the cookie sheet! Anyone who can help?
