Stuffed Jalapenos

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
I have made this recipe for Christmas the last 3 years. My family begs for them! They are a bit time and labor intensive for such a simple recipe, but well worth it. Thanks.

Stuffed Pepper Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
This is a favorite in our family, and I make it often. I do change a few things when I make it, but this is a fantasic recipe. I reduce the brown sugar to 2 TBSP, add 2 cups of beef broth instead of bouillon (to make a bit soupier), and at least 2 more green peppers. Sometimes is also add crushed red pepper for a little kick. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chocolate Peppermint Candies

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
So easy! Great recipe. I used a fork to dip them and they looked great. I may make them a bit bigger next time, but other than that, they were perfect.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
I really like this bread. I added a few things, but I've tried a lot of banana bread recipes and I this is the one that I will be sticking with. I added cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and walnuts. I doubled the recipe and it made 2 loaves and 12 muffins. I can't recall the number of bananas I used (I think it was 10). Crusty on the outside and very moist on the inside YUM!

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2008
I have never made meatloaf that was edible until this recipe! I use tomato sauce instead of the glaze (that's how my mama always made meatloaf), and add finely chopped onion and garlic and a pinch of cumin. I always make extra and freeze the little loafs. I also have to cook these a bit longer than the recipe says.

Joey's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
Maybe it was because I used natural PB, but these were really greasy. They weren't very flavorful either. My 2 and 3 year old boys ate them, but nobody else would.

We didn't really care for these. A little too yeasty tasting maybe. Not sure what it was, they were just okay.

Banana Cake V

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
I used all-purpose flour and yogurt instead of sour cream and a little less sugar. I also added chocolate chips and cream cheese icing. It really had great banana flavor, but wasn't really a cake. It was just like banana bread, probably because of my changes.

Strawnana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
I love the orange zest in this! I used Smart Balance/Butter instead of the oil and I didn't have any nuts. Very moist bread.

Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
I used butter instead of shortening, a bit more peanut butter, and frosted with homemade chocolate fudge frosting. Delicious! They tasted like a peanut butter cookie in cupcake form. Thank you for this recipe!
