Cheese Fritters

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2005
I made these last Chanukah and found they were fantastic. I made them for a friend who is really picky and he just kept going on and on about how good they were!

Chocolate Gravy II

I loved this recipe. I made it for my parents and some friends and they did not like it but I thought it was great! I have not made it for any kids but I feel sure they would love it.

Cornbread Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2004
I made this recipe for a friends work function. It was great. I made 2, one just like the recipe and one that was more spicy. I used hot sausage, Mexican cheese mix, mozzarella, an italian mix with parmesan, romano and mozzarella, chedder and colby. I used more than twice the amount of cheese it called for and I used 1/2 onion. I also found red pepper mix in a tube and mixed that with the 5 fl oz of water to make it more hot. He said everyone loved it! We will make it often now.

Fatoosh

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2004
This was awesome! I found Sumac on line at a store called Hashems and made this. Its was great! Sumac kind of sticks to your teeth but it's worth it! People who would not normally touch this type of thing were smitten. It is now a family favorite!!!!

Poor Man's Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2004
I loved this recipe. I had to try it because it was so different and didn't really think I would like it all. The flavors really compliment each other.I used Claussen Sandwich Stackers and red onioin. It's standard lunch box fare now.

Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2004
I hate coffee but made this for my parents who love coffee. I used regular instant coffee and some french vanilla non diary creamer as this was all they had on hand. I took a drink just to make sure it was drinkable and I LOVED IT! This is great! They loved it too and compared it to expensive iced coffee drinks. This one is a keeper!

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2004
This is great. I put the oatmeal in the blender and blend it to down to a near powder and then add the rest of the ingredients, using soy or almond milk instead of regular milk. I also usually freeze the banana and I don't use quite so much sugar. It is almost like ice cream and it is not only good but good for you. I added Mexican vanilla last time and it gave it a new taste dimension. I have also used cherry and almond flavoring in the past (just depends upon what fruit I am using). Sooooo GOOD!!!
