This is the most amazing chocolate chip cookie recipe ever. I have tried many different CCC recipes, and this one is exactly as it says--big, yummy, soft cookies that everyone will rave about. A couple key points to remember (some that are part of the recipe and others mentioned in reviews, but just want to reiterate): 1- Use real MELTED butter; 2- Refrigerate dough-- I usually do overnight; 3- You may find there to be too many chips. I did. I just reduced the chips to 1 1/2 cups instead of two and used semi sweet. 4- Figure out the baking time that works best for your oven. For me it's about 13 minutes, I pull them out and leave them on the tray for an additional 3-4 minutes, and then move them to the cooling rack. 5- Do NOT grease your cookie sheets. Good luck not eating the whole batch!!!!!!!!!!!!!
