Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2005
We really like this. I made the entire recipe, but baked it in 2 separate batches several days apart for the two of us.

Tangy Cranberry Sauce

This sauce had a zip we like. I made it precisely by the recipe, but I may add a hint more horseradish next time.

Fruity Cookie Press Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
I have used this exact recipe for years. This year I used the changes some of you suggested, and I had a flatter more spread out cookie. I prefer the original, but my press is an electric Wilton, so it is not difficult for me to press the cookies.

Outstanding! I'll make this often. Husband and son really liked it too. I added a little water to the cottage mixture to make it spread more easily.

Delicious! I didn't have fresh asparagus, but I used all the other fresh garden veg ('tis the garden season as I write). I'll make this often.

Drop Biscuits and Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
I made the biscuits from this recipe with my grandchildren, and turned out beautifully. The 6 year old was able to put it all together and drop the biscuits. We used the biscuits with strawberries for heathy strawberry shortcake.

Twenty-Four Hour Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
Adding the sugar to the mayonnaise thins it and makes it easier to spread the mayo. Used to make similar recipe often, but lost the recipe. We like this a lot, so I'll continue to make it regularly.

Magnificent Cheesy Brown Rice

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
This is outstanding as written. I was short of onion, so I added "onion-onion" seasoning which adds garlic flavor also. Hubby loved it too, so next time I'll make more. When I make brown rice I make extra, so it is waiting in the refrigerator for the next time.

Used browning flour which adds a lot of taste. As other reviewers, I added onion and garlic. Very pleased.

Squash Casserole I

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
A great recipe for all the huge squash and zucchini from gardening friend. I removed seeds, steamed squash & zucchini & drained well. I put fresh bread crumbs in with casserole and added panko to the top. Thank you Gaye who submitted. This is great!
