My doxies rate these PAWTASTIC with dew claws up!!!! Super easy to make. I just had to add a little more beef broth to moisten the dough. Great recipe.

Jam Kolaches

Fabulous Kolache recipe!!! The dough is tender (I live in New Mexico at a high altitude and had to add a 1/4 cup of flour and a 1/4 cup of water but I know I have to compensate for the altitude) and is a wonderful match to the jam filling!!! Yum!!! Thank you for posting!!!!

Peanut Butter Cookies VI

This is an outstanding recipe. One thing though, if you live in high altitude add an extra 1/2 cup flour. Keep an eye on them when they are baking and let them cool a bit on the cookie sheet before removing them so they don't fall apart which is what I expect happened to CheerlChick88's cookies.

Baked Custard for Two

The custard is super easy and tastes wonderful. One correction. Ms. Wilson is from Roswell, NM not Rosewell, NM. There is not a town named Rosewell in New Mexico.

THE Pasta Salad

And six more stars!!! I just love this salad!!! It is fast, tasty and everyone just loves it!!!!!!! I add carrots and celery just for a crunch but that is all I change. Thank you so very much for posting this fabulous salad!!!!!!!

Sugar Cookie Drops

These are really good cookies. Very easy to make. I added 1.5 tsps rum flavoring and rolled the dough in a mixture of cocoa and sugar. Yum!!!!!!!! Thank you so very much, Lois!!!!

Oatmeal Lace Cookies

These were great but watch these cookies like a hawk!!!! That will get too brown really quick!!! I also slowed my oven down to 350 since 375 was too high for my oven. I used one of the other reviewers ideas and used maple syrup instead of corn starch and added 1/4 tsp cinnamon. All I can say are are delicious!!!!! Thank for posting!!!

These are fabulous!!! I used all butter instead of shortening and used tsps of rum extract in lieu of the vanilla. These are so very good!! Really easy too!! Thank you for posting!!!!

Country-Style Ribs

Excellant recipe and super easy!!!!! Ribs come out fork tender and the sauce is fabulous. The only thing I changed is I substituted hot red chile powder for the cayenne pepper. This is a must try recipe!!!!!

Stuffed Peppers with Creole Sauce

This was a great start for me. To the browned ground beef I added some chopped up green pepper and mushrooms. With the sauce I used two cans of tomato sauce, extra garlic, chili powder and black pepper. Then I also added heavy cream, Tabasco, cayenne pepper and thyme. Yum-O!!!!!!!

Rice Salad

This was really good!!! I added some chopped boiled eggs, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and chopped carrots. I omitted the pimentos and the peas. I also used some milk to make it creamier. Great substitue for potato or pasta salad!! Thank you, Tracey!!!!
