Big Soft Ginger Cookies

These cookies are amazing. I have made them several times and they are a huge hit each time. I drizzle frosting made of confectioners sugar and water on top instead of rolling in sugar.

Easy Decadent Truffles

Very fudge-like taste to these....not great for my waistline! Easy and quick to make, few ingredients needed, lots of versitility = a great product. Will be making different flavored ones next time and without a doubt they will be just as wondeful. Can't wait to give them out as gifts! Thanks!

Waffles I

I ran out of Bisquick and the kids wanted waffles, so this one looked worth trying. Made them just as recipe stated and we all loved them and we will be making these instead now. It made 12 waffles - just the right amount for our family of 5. Thanks!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

I would use the recipe on the side of the funfetti cake mix box and only use 1/3 cup of oil - 1/2 cup is too much. I wouldn't change anything else. Very good and very easy!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Perfect pizza for our family! We did use Ranch and reduced the amount to just covering the crust. Shredded the chicken and soaked it in the hot sauce for 30 minutes before baking...YUM!

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Great tasting and very easy recipe! I cut up about 2 cups of ham and put it in. You certainly can't tell that the white sauce isn't milk-based. I will be using this recipe from now on. Thanks!

Peppermint Patties

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for appearance not taste. The taste was great, although I will use 3.5 instead of 4 cups of conf. sugar next time for an even creamier middle. I had no probelms with the middle falling apart. I just put them in the freezer for about an hour, and they held together perfect. The chocolate didn't look as nice as I wanted it too after dipping - it did not have a smooth finish to it. Not a big deal, really, but when given as gifts you want them to look perfect. I will surely make these again with noted changes! Yummy

Slow Cooker Ham

Wonderful ham! I used a bone-in ham, and it seemed to give a smoke flavor (kids weren't super fond of this). It was so easy and tasted so good. Very tender! Will be making this a lot! Thanks!

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

This was wonderful! When my husband and children looked at it, they were convinced that they wouldn't like it. They quickly changed their minds after trying it - they loved it - and they went back for seconds! I did omit the salt and saved some of the peppers for adding in later as others had suggested, and I didn't brown the meat before putting it in the crockpot. I also added 4 more bullion cubes to add to the flavor. We served over noodles and we will be making this again! Thanks!

Potato Casserole II

We have used this recipe for years, and it's always a hit. It makes a nice side dish for any meal. The only change is that we use crushed corn flakes in place of chips.
