Quick and Easy Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2005
Everyone seemed to really like this recipe. I reduced the cheese as other reviewers recommended. If I make again, I'll reduce the cheese a bit more, maybe substituting some of the processed cheese for a different kind of cheese.

Artichoke and Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2005
It was a very pretty dish. If I liked peppers I may have liked this dish more. Not a bad flavor by any means, just not my preference.

Husband's Delight

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2005
With changes this is definitely five stars! I too added a small can of tomato sauce to meat and cooked diced tomatoes with mixture. I layered as someone had suggested: pasta first, then meat mixture, cheese on top. It was sooooo good! YUM!

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2004
I often make this recipe and just throw in a bowl. The water chestnuts give it an extra nice crunch, but the flavor isn't adversely affected if you don't have any on hand. Easy and tasty, my favorite kind of recipe!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2004
I have to give it five stars because although it wasn't my absolute favorite, this was the first year there were zero leftovers of mac and cheese from thanksgiving dinner. Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2004
I've made it three times in two weeks. Love it! Used butter flavor pam, left one inch border to allow cookie to spread (avoid spillage). I had a 13 in pizza pan so used excess mix to make six cupcakes. I doubt I'll ever return to drop cookies again!

Not the best ever, but pretty easy and very good. Loved the presentation of bread bowl.

Cola Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
It was easy and the kids ate it, but it's not a better alternative to cream of mushroom with pork chops, which is what I'm looking for.

Awesome Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
I love this recipe. As others suggested I was heavy on butter on edges, light in middle. Used velveeta cheese (that was on hand) and came out perfect!

Warm Crab Parmesan Dip

Very easy, and very good. Delicious reheated too, just stir constantly while reheating. Very filling. If you're not a cheese lover, beware!

Swedish Meatballs I

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
It was edible, but not fantastic. I liked it but not worth the trouble. The kids liked the sauce, but not the meatballs.

Linnie's Spanish Rice

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
I followed the recipe to a T (besides browning rice & garlic like others suggested). I think the concept is excellent, but I'd try again with a diff. type of salsa. The end flavor wasn't as great as it could be with the right salsa. Mine did not come out too watery either.

Quesadillas II

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2004
I used a bag of tyson's grilled chicken strips, added an orange bell pepper and garlic powder to recipe. It ended up making five quesadillas (I guess I like more filling than normal) but it was soooooo delicious I can't wait to make again. By the way, I'm the girl who always holds the onions and peppers on most anything, but this recipe was so good don't let a little aversion to onions stop you. mmmmmmmmm can't wait to make again!!!

I look for fast and good. It was good, not great, and it was more work than I prefer. Probably won't make again.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2004
This is the perfect recipe. Simple and delicious!! The only thing I ever do differently is season the beef to taste as I brown it and make sure to drain beef before adding sauce!! First time made with minced onions, second time with real onions. Either way was mmmm mmmmm good. In fact, last time I made 12 servings and 8 people (2 of them being kids) devoured it all!!
