Maria's Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2006
This was wonderful!! I didn't feel like deboning my chicken breasts so I just cut a slit into each and stuffed. Used leftover mixture and put into large pasta shells. One pan of chicken, one pan of shells, all stuffed with the delicious mixture and topped with sauce. Very impressed with how this came out! Thanks for sharing!!

Clark's Quiche

Sinfully delicious!! Didn't use ham, used 12 oz bacon. Didn't use crust either and layered as directed into a 9 x 13 pan. Excellent recipe!

Dash's Donair

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2006
This was delicious!! After cooking I did wrap in foil and place in fridge overnight. I then took thinly sliced pieces and heated/browned in some olive oil before eating in a pita bread topped with sauce, red onions and tomatoes. Wasn't able to get the sauce thick enough so I'll keep trying but really enjoyed this recipe.

Salmon Loaf

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2006
Very good recipe. Simple and tasty. I left the bones in, but next time I think I'll take the bigger (spine) pieces out. They did get very soft but were still firm enough that I knew what it was. Also for best results I reduce the liquid from the can of salmon by a bit less than 1/4 cup. Ate leftovers as sandwich with a slice of melted cheddar and tomatoes. Very good! Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe!!

Busy Day Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2006
This recipe was easy and came out pretty tasty. I seasoned the chicken (adobo & pepper) and set in on top of two balls of alum. foil, then poured the BBQ sauce. It came out flavorful and tender while the fat dripped away.

Very happy with this recipe. I forgot to add the shrimp so I'm sure it'll be even better next time. I can't wait to make it again!

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2006
Loved the sauce!! It's tradition to add cherries and pineapple to our ham so I did that and basted the whole thing with sauce. It tasted so good no one could stop eating it!! Next time though I'll half the sauce as I had a lot leftover.

Shredded Beef for Tacos

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2006
I didn't have green onions but the recipe was still very delicious! I actually let mine cook overnight, degreased the liquid, shredded, added back and cook until dinner time in the crockpot and it made a cheaper (usually tougher) cut of meat perfect! I used leftovers for burrito pie and put some in the freezer for a future meal. Wonderful and easy recipe!

Puerto Rican Pork Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2006
It was so delicious it's almost too easy!! I added the tbsp of vinegar but I know it would have been just as good without so don't stress that part. I too substituted adobo for the salt & pepper (equal portion substitution) and used minced garlic. Rubbed the leftover paste all over. EVERYONE loved this recipe!!! Thanks for sharing!!

Easy Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2006
This was really good and easy! My two favorite things in a recipe. As I normally do I used fresh mushrooms and flavored the meat however I wanted (minced garlic, adobo, black peppper). I know I'll make this recipe again and again. Thanks for sharing!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
So delicious!! I actually added 1 tsp of salt & 1 tsp of adobo. Next time I'll only do either or because (I forgot) the paremesan adds saltiness. Nonetheless this recipe came out so good I can't wait to make it again!! Oh and amounts were changed accordingly to accomodate 3 chicken breasts as opposed to four.

Chicken Perkelt

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
With the changes I made, it will definitely be repeated over and over. I seasoned the chicken thighs (all I had) with garlic powder, adobo and pepper. I also added about 1/2 cup of white wine and used fresh mushrooms. Other than these changes I followed the recipe exactly and it was delicious! Thanks for sharing!!

Bacon and Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

These are so delicious and addictive! I love the recipe as is and I look forward to trying it with other cheeses. I added a bit more salt to the mixture before stuffing the mushrooms, but other than that followed the recipe to a T.

Spinach Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2006
I had to use 6 oz. of spinach because that's what I had on hand. It still came out delicious! I look forward to adding the full 10 oz. Like everyone else I halfed the butter, added a smidgeon more salt and used 2% mozzarella cheese. I look forward to making this over and over. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

I made it and shared the recipe with my mom. We BOTH loved it! I didn't make the gravy but my mom did and said it's absolutely worth the extra effort. I personally added more seasoning to the meat and the flour mixture.

Hearty Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2006
I won't make any other version of tuna casserole anymore. I love that it has so many vegetables. I typically omit celery (don't care for it)and add whatever vegetables I want. I do add about half a cup of milk. This recipe is delicious cold as well!! My daughter and I ate it as a cold pasta salad the next day. Thanks for sharing!!
