Swedish Meatballs I

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2012
Have tried this about 5 times in the last 6 weeks. Read a lot of the reviews which helped. I have made this with full fat cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soups with full fat milk and sour cream. Turned out very creamy and rich. Also made it with 98% fat free soups, skim and low fat sour cream. Tastes good too and heart healthier. Not as creamy of course. I add 1 tbsp of steaksauce to the meat. The cream of wheat really holds the meatballs together better than when I tried bread crumbs. Evap milk made it a little too sweet for me. Everyone I makes this for loves them. So easy

Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2012
Good, very tender. Used Ritz cracker because I don't have cold cereal in the house. Also used chicken tenders. Cooked in 18 minutes. Next time I am going to use a bacon onion spice pack I bought at a craft fair. This onion soup was a little strong. I will keep using this recipe but change up the spices and coating to find one I really like.

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2012
I followed the recipe and was thrilled with the results. Crispy toasted bread crumbs on the outside and melted gooey cheese on the inside. Love the garlic-butter drizzle. It looks nice too. So easy and quick to make. After reading other reviews I can use this recipe to make all kinds of stuffed chicken. This tasted like Chicken Kiev but one could easily change it up to a Cordon Bleu. I think any cheese inside would work I took a picture and sent it to my boyfriend who is eagerly awaiting me to make this for him in 3 weeks when I see him.

Orange Chicken Stir Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2013
I followed the recipe and agree with a lot of other reviewers, way too salty and too much soy sauce. I did like the orange flavor that came through. I ate a serving and threw the rest away. If I make it again I will not add add any salt and use only a 1/4 of the soy sauce (or less). I think adding chunks of pineapple sounds good. The crispy noodles got soggy real fast so next time will be with brown rice (healthier) and no bean sprouts which were limp as well. Stir fry veggies and pineapple. I know this changes it a lot but it just was not good as is.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2015
I had to make changes only because I didn't have all the ingredients. No onion so onion powder. Skim milk so I used half skim and half cream, added carrots that I chopped fine, and used "better than bullion" rather then cubes. Also had some real bacon bits left over and dumped those in them. It turned out wonderful. I don't think you could mess it up. I'll freeze at least half in serving size containers for quick easy take to work meals. This is a keeper. It will get faster after making it a few times and not having to keep looking at the measurement list. I think you could add cheese on top or stir in broccoli or cauliflower.
