Summerly Squash

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2013
Yum! Sliced the onions extra thin to get more juice out of them and omitted the salt. This dish still had PLENTY of flavor! Maybe a bit much squash; I used one medium squash and one medium zucchini and it seemed to be the perfect mix. If I make it again, I'll probably add a pinch of minced garlic to it as well.

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2012
Delicious. I used HEAVENSNT86's suggestion of baking at 400F for 10 minutes on each side, then 2 minute broil. Not as crispy as I like my falafel. I'll definitely have to try frying it. Still, really good, and my normally picky parents both loved it.

Herb Crusted Halibut

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2012
Used spotted sea trout fillets - what we had on hand - and I don't know if that's why it came out so incredibly dry. It was in definite need of a sauce or something to give it a little "wet". The crunchiness was nice, but it was way too dry to stand alone for me and my family.

Chili Seasoning Mix I

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2012
Really good. Used this for Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili, found here: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/debdoozies-blue-ribbon-chili/detail.aspx Substituted red pepper - like the kind they set out at pizza joints - for the cayenne, and ignored the seasoned pepper, figured that substitution would make it spicy enough. It was great!

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2012
Super quick, super delicious. I think I reduced the sauce too much; upon 5 minutes of cooling, it was almost as thick as the raspberry jam! Definitely want to try it with fresh raspberry sauce instead once the jam's run out. Both my boyfriend and I really enjoyed it, and as quick and easy as it is, it's being added to our regular "rotation" of recipes.
