Bob's Habanero Hot Sauce - Liquid Fire

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
I really enjoyed the flavor of this. I think it is just the right hottness the way it is but my husband wanted hotter. So I made a second batch and left half of the habanero peppers whole with seeds and all. That kicks it up to where my husband likes it. We put this on everything from eggs to burritos and even as a chicken wing sauce!!

Cajun Crawfish and Shrimp Etouffe

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
This tasted great! I chopped my pepper, onions, garlic and celery really small. I didn't have fresh tomatoes so I used tomato paste...about 3 Tbsp. My seafood seasoning was Old Bay. I didn't have fish stock handy so I used chicken broth recommended from other reviewers. Hubby does not like crawfish so I used all shrimp. Awesome...3 people at work enjoyed the leftovers....and wanted the recipe!

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
This was a hit at my football party! I chopped the sauerkraut so it wasn't stringy. Used corned beef from the deli, chopped up. And added more thousand island dressing til it was the creaminess that we liked. This is going in my recipe file!

Fabulous Football Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
We loved this at our football party! This will be great for any snacking occassion. I cooked up the sausage (I used hot!), drained then I threw everything in the crock pot on low, stirring often, then switched it to keep warm setting. Oh, I did add an extra can of Ro*Tel like other reviewers said.

Cajun Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2008
This cake turned out very moist and delicious! I left out the coconut because hubby does not like it. My topping sauce also took longer than the stated 2 minutes to thicken up but other than that, I love it! I took half to work and hubby took half to work. Both places gave it rave reviews and now I have to make about 20 copies of the recipe for them! This will be my new pot-luck dish!

Creamy Spiced Coleslaw

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
This is great recipe. I only gave it 4 stars because I added to it. I like very spicy foods so I added a big pinch of cayenne pepper and a small pinch of chilpolte chili pepper. I like to use this as my slaw topping on reuben sandwiches.

Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2007
This was very good. I gave it 4 stars because I modified it a little. I added 2 tsp. of my homemade cinnamon spice blend, which gave it a bolder flavor. I think this will taste great with pecans or walnuts in it!

My husband says this is a keeper! I gave it 4 stars because I modified it to our tastes. Added 1 Tbsp. sweet relish and used jalapeno monterey jack cheese on italian loaf bread. Then I grilled it in my cast iron pan.

Fresh Cherry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2006
This turned out very good! I wasn't sure at first reading through the directions how this would turn out. The batter was very thin. My husband loved it and took the rest into work the next day for his office. I didn't have fresh cherries so I used frozen. And I love cinnamon so I added 1/ tsp. to the batter. Thank you for the recipe, I want to try it with other fruits!
