Peppermint Cookies

Really good with the addition of the crushed peppermint sticks/candy canes!!! ..I'm so glad you added the kitchen note of how much shortening in cup measurements as we don't have "sticks" of butter/shortening here in Canada.. I looked forward to trying it! Thank-you!!!

Healthier Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Maggie I would take a good guess that the raw sugar would be used when the dough was rolled into balls then you would dip the top part into the sugar for decoration .. if you waited until after they had baked the sugar would fall off .. I had an old recipe that called for rolling the dough balls in white sugar and then they would have a crackled top when they had cooked.. Hope this helps.. Dena :)

Rosemary Roasted Butternut Squash

Vietnamese Lemongrass Beef and Noodles

This looks delicious!!! I love Vietnamese food for the freshness and it's so healthy!! Would love to be able to make this instead of having to go out to the restaurants all the time to satisfy my craving for this food! I would try White chicken breast sliced thinly and marinated too and the fish sauce you have given the recipe for is GREAT! It's so much needed for this dish!!! Chili flakes optional for me as I like mild.. but Thank-you!!!! Will try ASAP! I eat this all the time so rated it 5 *'s :) Now I can easily make it myself!!!! They sometimes call the basil in this mint but it's really a basil.. and fresh mung bean sprouts are wonderful restaurants also add thinly shredded cucumber and carrot..:) (Calgary Alberta Canada) You can also use the clear chinese thin noodles..Rice noodles?
