I must say that my family and I are huge critics of bread. We loved this one! Great for making bruchetta

Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2005
This pie was amazing! I garnished with lime slices and curly lime peels. I must admit that it was the first key lime pie i have ever made and I was so caught up in it that I forgot to cook it! My advise is to cook it, but even raw it was delicious!

Overnight Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2004
I have made these twice and so far I think it would be safe to say that they are nothing short of wonderful! I do have a few modifications of my own. I made the dough in my bread machine on "dough" cycle. I add a little bit of vanilla into the dough for those of us who choose not to have frosting. ( I think cream chese frosting would also be very tasty) I sprinkle a little olive oil on the dough before adding the filling. I also find that when rolling into the log, the more times you can roll it the better the buns come. I think that thats the true trick to making these. They will have more filling and stay more moist. So put a little extra effort into rolling it into a log and they come out doubly better! And to make them SUPER moist put a VERY small pat pf butter on top of each roll before baking. One more thing- when i made these the second time, when I tool these out of the fridge in the morning I found that some of the filling had liquified and there were little puddles of it around each bun. If this is the case try to scoop this up and put it on the buns BEFORE cooking them! If you do it after it will carmalize into a rock hard tooth-breaker. And to top my review off- baking them for 20 minutes makes for a much better out come! Once again- Perfect!

Pasta Broccoli Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2004
This recipe was pretty good. It tasted like a frozen dinner, ther's a lot to clean up and it isn't too healthy. On the other hand its very tasty! I suggest adding more veggies to counter act the unhealthyness; corn, peas, carrots, and cauliflower go well. Young kids would love it, and its a great way to get them to eat vegetables if you load the dish with more than broccoli(sauce covers their taste pretty well). And to make it a full dinner add some chicken. I was out of swiss so i sprinkled just a little bit of cheddar and bread crumbs on top. If you put too much it will cover the flavor of the sauce, which is cheesy enough, so it only adds unnessicary calories. The bread crumbs dry it out. I suggest not baking it, it only drys it out and heats up the kitchen. I give it a 4 and my mom gives it a 3. I don't think it makes the cut to make again.

Almost No Fat Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2004
This banana bread is so good i make sure there is always some around the house! I also add about one heaping teaspoon of dark brown sugar and 1/2 a tsp. of vanilla extract. I put in as many bananas as I have availible- up to three, and usually use half a cup of applesauce to make it extra moist. When cooking in a 9x5 loaf pan, only cook for 45 minuts. Since its relativly healthy, its great for breakfast. Bread is easy to make and freezes well. Perfect.
