Apple Crisp III

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
really easy and turns out a crowd-pleaser. I used 50/50 white/brown sugar, and 50/50 white/wheat flour. I will try cutting down the sugar next time because it is really really sweet, but therefore a crowd-pleaser...

Slow-Cooker Pork and Apple Curry

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
Great! I didn't have an apple so I stirred in chunky apple-sauce. I added some coconut milk to the liquid, and cooked on the high setting for approx 3.5 hrs. The pork was succulent, the flavors awesome! served over rice with green beens on the side. Easy and delicious. thank you

Creamy Carrot Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
this was great, a big hit for a fall party, with bread and cheese and salad. And I did follow the recommendation of using COCONUT MILK instead of cream. Big hit, very tasty. I did not get rid of any broth, etc. just pureed it all, then stirred in the coconut milk. People were impressed because I could call it "vegan".

Creamy Caramel Flan

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2005
If you want flan, stick with the traditional. Everyone who ate this was confused because you're expecting flan's silky texture, and this is a cheese-cake. If you want cheese-cake, throw a crust on this and you're set.
