I've tried way too many sugar cookie recipes and just hadn't found one that was any better than Pillsbury refrigerator cookies and I would prefer to make my own. So I tried this recipe and love it. I made these cookies on Monday evening and baked them on Tuesday evening. Sugar cookies with frosting (hmm, maybe it's just the frosting) are my husband's favorite. He approved the recipe! Yay! I would recommend that you only refrigerate for an hour or so, overnight made the dough really hard. I also ended up kneading some more flour into the dough because the first pan came out a little "loose" for lack of a better term. The reindeer had one big horn instead of antlers!
