German Pancake with Buttermilk Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2013
Very good. My kids devoured this. Loved the buttermilk sauce, too.

I love this soup but I do prefer kale over the spinach.

Fabulous Fruit Salad

I do leave out the celery and add any seasonal fruit. The lemon yogurt is the best. I've been making this for years!

Tater Tot Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
Tried it as is and I think it's okay. Next I added spices to the meat, a little extra Worcestshire, french green beans and cheese. I personally like it better that way.

Baked Rigatoni with Italian Sausage and Fennel

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
Really good. I cut down a little bit on the fennel. I also thought it wasn't 'saucy' enough so I added another cup of red sauce.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

This is one of our go-to recipes. I use panko bread crumbs for a crispier texture.

Super Lemon Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
My husband said this was so good you could sell it...and that is high praise from him. It is very good. The only thing I did differently was to strain it before cooling it just to make sure there were no lumps.

Tartelettes de Framboises au Mascarpone (Raspberry Tartlets)

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
This was really good. I didn't have pistachios and I still thought it was delicious. For my preference, I would probably cook the crust until it was just barely golden brown because it was a little too crunchy for me. I didn't have mini tarts so I just made it into one big pie.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2007
My favorite potato soup. I've served it multiple times and everyone asks for the recipe. It is so delicious with so many dimensions of flavor. Sometimes I do not add the onions to the soup but serve it with scallions on the side and it is still yummy.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Wonderful. I confess that I am a terrible breadmaker but these have turned out great for me everytime. I also use just regular bread flour and they are still delicious.

Petit Pain Au Chocolate

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2004
This recipe is very easy and very rich. I might even suggest cutting the pastry into smaller squares because this dessert is a trifle decadent.

Kentucky Hot Brown

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2004
Yum! I've never eaten anything like this but my husband and I both enjoyed this one. I used dense homemade bread for the toast and it was not in the least soggy. I halved the recipe to serve just my husband and I and it turned out great.

Baked Pancake Squares

This is a good alternative to regular pancakes. I just used regular eggs and it turned out great. If you have a larger family, you may want to double the recipe to satisfy everyone.

This is the best quiche I have ever had. Next time, however, I will use fresh mushrooms instead of canned.
