Cake Balls

I used devils food cake mix and chocolate frosting..make sure cake is cool before crumbling and use about 3/4 of a 16 Paz container of frosting when cooled. Roll into balls and refrigerate for at least an hour before dipping in chocolate coating.

Apple Crisp by Spice Islands®

One of the better crisp recipes. Depending on the sweetness of the apples you can use either all of the brown sugar or 1/2 the brown sugar for the apple base portion. I used 1/2 with a gala apple and golden delicious combo. I used the full amount in the crumble topping but substituted chopped pecans for the walnuts.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Hands down best molasses cookie recipe I have made. They do stay soft and I put them in the freezer and pulled them out for the holidays and they thawed into the same soft cookie that came out of the oven. Use good quality molasses and I used a# 50 scoop and rolled into balls in sugar then pressed them slightly and sprinkled with larger crystal decorating sugar. I refrigerated the dough for an hour before baking. Do not flatten with a fork, just slightly give a press with heel of palm. Rave reviews from friends.
