Loved this recipe. It was VERY easy to make and is great when you need a dish to share at a picnic or gathering.

Flan II

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2004
I did not like this recipe at all. Flan was blan, and the only strong taste was that of eggs. There needs to be something added to this recipe to help out the flavor. It was a real waste of perfectly good ingredients. I will not make this again, and neither should you.

Deviled Eggs I

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
This recipe was dry and needed more mayo. I have tasted better stuffed eggs. Also this not a true deviled egg recipe. Deviled eggs have cayenne pepper, and Stuffed eggs have paprika. They have been eaten since the days of the Roman Empire. Just in case you ever need to know.

Pineapple Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2004
Excellent. This is the same recipe that my Granny has been making for about 15 years now. The biggest thing to note is that IF you are using pineapples in heavy syrup then of course you don't need extra sugar (as some reviews has said, because heavy syrup is sugar). If you use pineapples in their own juice with no added sugar then you can safely add the sugar. Also I made this recipe gluten free by changing some of the ingredients to gluten free ingredients and it came out just great. You can buy gluten free crackers and use gluten free flour in place of the gluten filled ingredients

Coconut Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2004
Very tasty. I used two 3.4oz coconut cream instant pudding packages because I could not find the 5oz box. Tasted very good and was not too sweet or too coconutty. I toasted the coconut that was sprinkled on top and it made the pie very beautiful. Overall a very good recipe if you take suggestions from the other users.

Banana Pudding III

Good, but too sweet. I think I will keep searching for the perfect banana pudding.

Picnic Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2004
I used this recipe and it turned out great. I am gluten intolerant so I substituted the flour for a combo of Rice flour, potato starch, and tapioca flour (6,2,1 ratio) and it still came out great. I also used it on some onions and made some tasty onion rings. It had been a while since I had been able to have fried foods due to my food sensitivity.

Grilled Salmon II

Very tasty. My friend who doesn't eat fish had half of my dinner because it was so good. That has to be a good endorsement.

Renaissance Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
This recipe was interesting to say the least. Not the best stuffed mushrooms I have ever had, but certainly quite good. This recipe probably does need breadcrumbs - something to give it a little more texture. As well, it could probably use more spiciness. Also, the recipe should really specify that you need very large mushrooms, or double the number of caps. I'm still searching for the best stuffed mushrooms, but this is certainly no slouch.

Rosemary Pork Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2004
I made this but I cut the garlic cloves in half poked them inside the beast and it added to the flavor. My dad loved it and he is a very hard man to please. Very juice. To keep it from becoming too dry check every half hour for internal temp. (this might slow down the cook time but will keep the roast from becoming over-done.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2004
It was very very good, but I had to cut everything, but the amount of potatoes, in half. This recipe is really really good but works best if you eat it with other foods that won't make you feel so guilty about eating all those calories and fats.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2004
This was very easy to make and tastes great! For those of you thinking about making this, remember that if the PB says on the jar 18oz that is it's WEIGHT. A cup of PB is over half of an 18oz jar.I used the 1 cup PB, 2 cups BrS, 3 cups CS, that others had mentioned and it worked wonderfully. Yummy!
