Apple Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2003
This recipe was so delicious! The choices for apple pie recipes can sometimes be overwhelming, but I guarantee this one is tasty AND easy! For a little extra crunch, I would suggest adding a sprinkling of oats to the topping! Thanks for then great recipe, Jackie! I love it! And so does my husband! And warmed up with some vanilla ice cream makes it to die for!

Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2003
My husband and I both find this recipe pretty delicious! They are super restaurant-style fluffy! I would suggest adding a bit less baking powder, because I find they kinda fall apart when you use the full 2 tablespoons. Yes, they are a bit plain, but that's the great thing about them, you can add any flavor! I've tried cinnamon, fruit, chocolate chips. And they are so simple. This is a great basic recipe that is great for a Sunday morning!

Hershey's ® Gridiron Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2003
If you have the time, this cake is really great. You will not believe how well received it will be at parties. You will be the hit! Definitely go with boxed cake mix to save time! And yeah, the goal posts are impossible. I too would suggest broken toothpicks, or even take some cutters to a wire hanger. That worked perfectly. Just make sure no one bites into them... good luck with this cake and have a great SuperBowl!

Caramel Crispy Treats II

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2003
Oh WOW! These were soooooo incredibly delicious. And easy! They took about 10 minutes to prepare, if that! They're probably tasty without the chocolate top, as someone suggested, but I would highly recommend it. It made them even more delicious. Oh and here's a tip, if you don't want to buy a whole bag of chocolate chips and your grocery has a bulk candy section, just buy a couple scoops of milk chocolate candy making wafers. I actually think they melt better! Thanks again! Great recipe!

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2003
These cookies are definitely sweet, but really delicious. The best part is you can really do anything you want with them... add chopped nuts or Rice Krispies, add a little less peanut butter. And to make them a bit easier and more portable, you can pour them right into foil cups! Great, simple recipe!

Apricot Cream Cheese Thumbprints

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2003
I was a little disappointed in these cookies, seeing as they had such rave reviews. They were fairly dry and bland, perhaps I did something wrong. Also, I tried a million different ways, but I could not get the thumbprint to stay a thumbprint. And I have been very successful with different recipes in the past. The cookies rose to a ball-like shape every time, looking exactly like a bagel.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2002
Great, simple recipe! I did two layers of ice cream instead of scoops and then put a layer of whipped cream on top (Cool Whip tasted great!). I also put a layer of some remaining cookie crumbs and other full 11.5 oz bottle of fudge between the two ice cream layers. Just a suggestion...nuke the fudge. That way you can just pour it on instead of spread, which tends to bring the cookie crumbs up. I made it for my boyfriend's birthday, and he said it was the best ice cream he's ever had. It's so easy and delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2002
Wow, this was great! I am not a big fan of your standard mayo-y or Italian dressing pasta salads. The balsamic vinegar gave it a great taste. As a nice Italian girl, I loved it. And my all-American boyfriend did too! Can't wait to tell my mom about it!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: May 8, 2002
Wow, these were so good! Everyone at my office loved them, as did my mother, my boyfriend, and all my friends! When I made the second batch, I couldn't find dried cranberries, so I used dried cherries, which were just as delicious! GREAT recipe for any time of year! Thanks a bunch!!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2001
Wow, this recipe is wonderful. I made them last year for my family and everyone loved them. And I made them again for an office birthday just yesterday and got the most rave reviews. I have to agree, they are some of the best cookies ever. And not hard at all! I made them exhausted and they came out great...

Better Butter Cookies

not very good recipe at all. Certainly not peanut buttery and call for way too much vanilla. A disappointment
