Sweet Potato Casserole II

I personally don't like sweet potatoes, but my girlfriend and mother both really liked this recipe. I didn't change a thing.

Tortilla Chicken Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
I would have given this recipe 5 stars if it had been creamy. The flavor was wonderful! I did add a little extra ground cayenne pepper and one tablespoon of lime juice, no celery, no rice.

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
Like others I did not use the egg to avoid the meatloaf texture. I substituted the ketchup with steak sauce. I used 1 small onion with 2 lbs of ground chuck. I didn't use any bacon and I just put on a slice of cheddar when they were done. The burgers were very good and juicy. But, they need more flavor. Next time I'm going to try some cayenne pepper to give it a little kick. With a little spice this would be a 5 star recipe.

Creme de Menthe Grasshopper Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2004
This pie was very easy to make. I just didn't like it. It had that liquor wang to it, like I just took a straight shot of creme de menthe. I believe if you cut back on the creme de menth, you couldn't taste any mint. My girlfriend said she liked it pretty well, but I don't think I'll be making it again.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2004
I couldn't find any gruyere cheese, so I used parmesan. The cheese didn't melt and it was very gritty. As for the taste, pure parmesan cheese. I even added extra garlic and a nice pinch of nutmeg and couldn't taste anything but the cheese. This recipe was a big dissapointment.
