Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2014
This was yummy! Based on reviews I decreased the milk to 1/2 cup and the brown sugar to 1/4 cup. The last time I made it, I added chopped green pepper. I also subbed in bread crumbs because I didn't have the other ingredient. It is really great and easy to make. My daughter, who normally doesn't like "sweet meat" had two servings.

Spanish Rice Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2014
I thought this was DELICIOUS! My family devoured it:) I always read the reviews first and make some changes based on other's reviews. Here's what I did. I used a whole onion and green pepper. I cooked the rice separately using whole grain brown rice. I seasoned the meat with garlic salt and red pepper (We like it spicy). Then I added the veggies, one can stewed Mexican tomatoes and one can chili style beans (both undrained) and remaining ingredients. I omitted the water because the rice was separate. It simmered while the rice cooked. Once finished, I added in the rice and just melted the cheese on top. This was very tasty, healthy, and cost effective. When you're feeding a family of five that matters.

Zippy Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2014
I read the reviews first, so I seasoned the meat with garlic salt, and black and red pepper as it cooked. I also used about 2-3x more of the catsup, curry, soy, and Worcestershire sauce because I like bold flavors. I'm not sure how much because I just kept adding until it tasted right. I also used leftover mashed potatoes that had butter, cream cheese, and garlic salt. I don't think this really changed the flavor much because the sauce is what really gives this recipe its Zing. This is a great recipe that you can customize to your individual tastes. I love it:)

Ham, Potato and Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2014
This is great! So flavorful and delicious! I didn't have french fries, so I just cubed some potatoes and coated them with olive oil and S&P. I baked them in the oven and used that instead of fries. I also cooked the broccoli first. I will definitely add this into my recipe rotation. YUMMY!

Creamy Mustard and Tarragon Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2014
This recipe is delicious. I doubled the sauce as other reviewers suggested and it was amazing. I also added a lot more tarragon because I love the taste of it and I used dried herbs. I will definitely be adding this into my rotation.

Different Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2014
Delicious! I read the reviews first and decided to use healthy choice cream of chicken and reduced fat sour cream. I omitted the salt as well. I didn't have herb stuffing, so I just used the chicken stuffing I had. Amazing! I will definitely be adding this into our regular rotation.

This was good, but I felt it was missing something. A good basic recipe, I just feel that I need to add something to make it outstanding.

Corn Casserole III

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2014
This recipe is amazing. It is great as posted. Super easy to prepare and the ingredients are simple. The second time I made I added chopped Jalapenos and a packet of equal because we like the spicy/sweet combination. Delicious. Everyone that has tried it asks for the recipe. This will definitely be added to my line up for holiday meals.

Snickerdoodles III

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2014
These are delicious! I love it that the ingredients are simple and are things that I usually have on hand. I didn't have any cream of tartar, so I substituted 1.5 tsp. of baking powder for the cream of tartar and baking soda. I learned that baking powder is 2:1 cream of tartar and baking soda. It worked great. I definitely recommend this recipes. Added bonus that my house smells amazing:)

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2013
This recipe was great. I read the reviews first, so I added a small onion and a chopped red bell pepper to sauté with the garlic. When I went to add the fresh spinach, I realized I only had a 1/4 of a bag left. Fortunately, I had some frozen spinach that I cooked and added. I agree with the other reviewers, the more spinach the better! I also never measure anything, so I put 3 heaping tablespoons of the pesto in. It was delicious. I will definitely add this into my meal rotation. Also, it didn't take that long at all to cook. I think the ready in 55 minutes part is an overestimation. I say about 30min. Wonderful:)

This was soooo good and easy. I added a can of drained diced tomatoes and 3/4 of a container of mushrooms. I cooked them first with the onion and garlic. It was amazing. My family loved it. My husband loves spicy food so I added a little red and black pepper too. SOOOOO good.
