Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: May 2, 2012
YUM!!! It is too thick. I used the chicken broth method (10 oz of chicken broth instead of wine) and it was still a bit thick (I like mine a little thin, so as it cools while we eat it doesn't get "sticky"). Even with the chicken broth, had to thin with milk even a little more. Still delicious... would work well in a crockpot, or with breaded or grilled chicken. Maybe even add, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms! YUM!

Jalapeno Ranch Salad Dressing

Reviewed: May 2, 2012
This is yummy, but not quite Chuy's to me. I did some adjusting and came up with a recipe that I think is even closer to Chuy's deliciousness.

Slow Cooker Tender and Yummy Round Steak

This recipe is MUCH better when you use a chuck or crossrib roast and use one can of cream of mushroom and one can of cream of celery.

Homesteader Cornbread

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2007
This is cornbread I've been looking for. So simple, and so good. I always use a stone ground cornmeal, and make it into muffins. Then I top it with a honey/butter glaze (equal parts of melted butter and honey mixed together). This tastes just like Famous Dave's muffins (minus that smokey flavor). YUM. These are good.

We LOVE this recipe. We never garnish it. And I often use homemade brownies, minus the nuts. Yum, yum!

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
This is fantastic! This dough also makes the closest knock off to Olive Garden breadsticks, ever. Just divide the dough into 12 sections, roll into cigar sized pieces. Place on greased cookie sheet. Let rise for 1 hour (do not add egg wash on top) and bake for 12-15 minutes at 350. Top with half melted butter, half olive oil spread and lightly sprinkle with garlic salt. Yum... tastes just like 'em!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2005
THIS IS HEAVEN!!!!! Since I'm not a coffee drinker, and not a fan of the flavor i just substituted the coffee liqueur with water! Works great! I also use two 8 1/2 loaf pans instead of the bundt pan and just spray them with generously with cooking spray. Comes out PERFECT every time!!! YUM YUM!!!!!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2005
Delicious!!!! My only struggle is that I can't get the sauce right. When I followed the recipe exactly it was too thin. The next time I melted the cheese in it and the thickness was right, but I could never keep it the right temperature. We had to keep warming it up! Also marinaded the chicken in oil, vinegar and the Cajun seasonings and then grilled on the BBQ! YUMMY!!!
