I have to agree with some of the other posts. Too much like pumpkin pie and my family didn't like the cake mix on the bottom. I will probably not use this recipe again.

I served this to company a few weeks ago and the loved it. It goes well with Spanish Chicken recipe I found on here as well. I almost didn't have enough for the main course because they ate it up. I'm giving 5 stars!

This recipe was a hit. I added sliced olives to the spanish rice with a little of the olive juice and put them on top as a garnish. I'm making this for company tonight. Great recipe!

This recipe is good for a base but I made quite a few changes after reading the reviews first. I followed the suggestion to add a little more flour so I used 2 tablespoons flour. I made homemade caramel sauce and put some in the bottom and on top of the apples as well as drizzled over the finished pie. I didin't think 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon was quite enough for crumble topping so I added a whole teaspoon. I cut back on the brown sugar in the pie filling to 1/4 cup since the caramel and the crumb topping was already sweet. I want to taste a littel tartness from the apples. Suggestions for soggy crust. When you are preheating your oven, pop your crust in for about 5 minutes before you fill. Someone suggested to me a long time ago and I do every pie this way, even the ones I freeze. I have no problems with doughy or soggy crust. I'm giving a 4 star since it is a good start to a pie but I did have to altar the recipe.

This recipe did not work for me. I followed it exactly with the exception of using 1 kind of chedder. It was more like a egg casserole with noodles and cheese. The flavor was not bad but it looked curdled because of the eggs. I'm giving 3 stars for ok flavor.

I'm not sure what happened but I followed the recipe exactly and it did not turn out very well. It was heavy and the kids said it tasted like sweet cornbread without the cornmeal. The liked it and did eat it. For this I'm giving 3 stars.

I've made this a couple of times and we love it! The first time I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of onions for shallots. The kids didn't like the parmesan cheese so the next time I made it without. I will be using the recipe again.

This did not turn out for me. The sauce was way to much for the amount of macaroni and the flavor was not that great. I added more cheese and it was ok but not that great.

I followed this recipe exactly and did not get brownies but more like Texas Chocolate sheet cake but not as flavorful. I made homemade icing for sheet cake and put pecans on top so it was still ok but not what I was looking for.

I used 1/2 lard and 1/2 butter but still great recipe. I rolled the dough in a log, wrapped with plastic wrap and put in freezer for about an hour. Then I sliced perfect round cookies and rolled in the cinnamon sugar. This recipe is also great for sugar cookies as well. I made snickerdoodles, sugar cookies rolled in sugar and iced sugar cookies using this recipe. I will be using this recipe for Christmas cookies.

My family loved these. I used date filling. I modified this recipe to make a little healthier and used 1/2 wheat flour and 1/2 cup homemade apple butter(you can use applesauce as well) and only 1/4 cup butter. They turned out chewy and great flavor. I agree with previous reviewer, the mix was not enough for a 9x13 pan but was just right for a square pan. I'm still giving 5 stars because the recipe itself was perfect.

I followed this recipe for the oatmeal crumb for the most part and used another recipe with date filling. I used 1/2 cup homemade apple butter(can also use apple sauce) and only 1/2 cup lite margarine to cut back on the fat. They still came out chewy and the whole family loved them. The extra spice in the apple butter gave them a great flavor. I agree with some of the other reviews with the pan size. I did not have enough to fill a 13 x 9 pan. I'm still giving 4 stars for a great recipe.

Best egg noodle pasta base recipe I've found so far. I used with my pasta roller/cutter attachments on my KitchenAid and was perfect consistancy. this will be my pasta base from now on.

I added white chocolate chips and pecan chips.(Don't care for walnuts) I wanted the brownie-like cookie so I cooled the dough as suggested on a previous review. Great cookie! Next time I'll try without chocolate chips. They would be perfect with a scoop of ice cream and a little chocolate syrup for a brownie sundae.

Did not like this recipe. Very salty and tasted too much like the tahini paste. I will try again but next time I will not add salt until the end and will cut back on the tahini paste.

I've only tried bread pudding once before and it was a disaster but this recipe was great. I added some wheat bread which gave it a nice marble look and a couple of old bagels which gave it a nice texture. I did add extra cinnamon. I didn't not use the lemon sauce but tried the pecan praline from another recipe. I will try the lemon next time.

Not sure what went wrong but mine came out very grainy. It did have a nice flavor behind it but it did not get eaten because of the texture. Any ideas?

The recipe is great for a cake. I would recommend using only 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp baking soda to make the bars. Even though the cake turned out great, I only give 4 stars since I did not get bars. I will make this recipe again.

I found the dough was a little tough and tore easy althought the flavor was good in the end. I will follow advise of LADYMHARRIS next time.
