Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
I didn't have all of the ingredients but what I did have turned out to be awesome! Left out bacon, sausage, tomato paste, red pepper and chilies. Added onion. Cooked the meat, then cooked all on high in a crock pot. Mmmmmm. Hubby loved it too. Thanks for the recipe.

Steve's Chicken Korma

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2011
This was delicious. I used 1% milk instead of cream and didn't have any almonds but it was still very good. I used a 500ml jar of homemade stewed tomatos with garlic and oregano. I threw all of the ingredients in the crockpot and had a wonderful dinner hours later. Thanks for sharing.

Tomato Soup I

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
Simple and delicious! I've had people begging me to make this for them. I use 1% milk instead of cream and it is still wonderful (and much better for you). Thanks.

African Chicken Stew

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
Sorry. I'm sure the recipe is good for some but to me it tasted like peanut butter veggies. My hubby didn't like it either. It looked really good though. Oh well. I know for next time...no PB for me. :)

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
This has become a favourite to make for friends etc. I use whole wheat flour and only 1/2 cup of sugar. I used dark chocolate chunks so it was not very sweet. Just right and not all that bad for you with a small amount of sugar and whole wheat flour. Less guilt to endulge! Thanks. Very easy.

Moroccan Tagine

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
Very good, very simple recipe. I nuked the squash first to make it easier to cut up. Used my own stewed tomatoes with garlic, oregano and basil. My hubby loved the squash in it.

Ham and Bean Soup I

Reviewed: May 7, 2011
This recipe was awesome! I'm not a sausage person but I used turkey sausage and 1/2 a small pork shoulder roast (couldn't get ham hocks). I boiled the pork to reduce the fat and removed all that I could prior to cutting it up. It was so tender it pulled apart! I also used my own stewed tomatoes from the summer (seasoned with garlic, oregano and basil). Thank you for this recipe. It isn't something I would have thought to do myself and it will definitely be a keeper!
