Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: May 17, 2010
I have never made pot roast before. I have never had a better tasting pot roast than this. It is the perfect recipe if you want juicy tender pot roast. I did almost exactly as the recipe stated (except I added more garlic). There was plenty of liquid after the specified cooking time. Just add thickener like flour or cornstarch to make gravy.

Apple Bavarian Torte

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2010
The crust was buttery and sweet, really good flavor. The cream cheese filling was creamy. I find 6 apples too much, did not microwave as suggested by others and it turned out fine (but then again I used only 2 large apples) topping: used walnuts instead of almonds

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
Now my favorite way of preparing salmon. I reduced the marinade in a pot and poured that over the salmon when it was done. The best!!!!

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
This was good! Piped well, too. I was so happy as it is not so easy to get powdered sugar where I am.

Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
This tasted really good. I used butter vanilla oil as flavoring. A pain to knead (my mixer is broken so I had to knead) but well worth the effort. Confectioner's sugar also worked better for me (as some other reviewers have mentioned) than butter. Also couldn't find mini mm's so I had to use the big ones ( they took long to melt but I kept at it, checking every 30 secs). I've had very little experience with cake decorating let alone fondant making but the cake (chocolate which I covered with Creamy Frosting) looked as close to professional-looking than any of the cakes I've decorated. The Youtube tutorials I watched also helped. Will use this again and again. Thank you for posting this recipe!!!! By the way, I didn't wait overnight to use it, only 2 hours.
