Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
This was ok. It was WAYYY too salty though! I did cut back on the salt a bit but it was still too salty. We still ate it & it wasn't bad but I probably wont be making this one again :(

Corn and Black Bean Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2009
This was ok. I thought the dressing was real good & it didn't taste bad but I'm not a huge fan of black beans to begin with so it was just ok. I also added onions & peppers to it because I thought just corn & black beans was a little bland. It was good but not something I really like but thats just my opinion, my hubby didn't like it at all he thought it was weird having the beans uncooked.

OMG YUMM!!! I made these last night cause I was wanting some brownies & they were delish!! I didn't change a thing to the recipe except that I didn't have chocolate chips only peanut butter chips & they were soo good! They were chewy on the outside & oh so moist & goey on the inside!! This will now be my brownie recipe from now on, simply the best :)

Broccoli Beef I

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
This was ok, I doubled the spices as someone suggested & added some red pepper flakes & I thought it still needed a little more flavor. I served it over white rice & it was not bad but not as good as I expected it to be. If I make this again I'm going to have to mess with the spices a bit more to change the flavor a bit.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
This was delicous!! I made it last night to pour ontop of chicken, broccoli ziti. It was amazing!! Soo much better than the jar stuff. And it was so easy & quick to make so that was an added plus! The only thing was it was a little thinner than I would have liked. I think next time I will cut down on the milk a bit. But other than that it was awesome!!!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2009
These were SOOO GOOD!!! The only change I made was that I used pre-chopped canned tomatoe because I think it was kinda pointless to buy canned tomatoe & then chop it when they already sell diced tomatoe. My nana makes these but somewhat diffrently & I loved them. These were soogood & easy & much healthier than the ones I grew up on!! Thanks for the great recipe I will be making these from now on :)

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2009
This was my first pork roast ever & this sounded good so I figured I'd try it! I am sooo glad I did! It was delicious!! My hubby said it was really most & better than his mom makes hers....so I know I did good!!! EDIT: 1 1/2 lb pork needed about 40-45 mins at 350

Hasselback Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
These were pretty good, not anything super special but a nice change from regular baked potatoe. Mine came out looking nothing like the picture & it didn't really crisp up on the top at all. Next time I think I'll flip them over a few times while baking to evenly brown them. I had a hard time seperating the flaps of the potatoe to get all the spices in there as well. But it was still yummy!

'Chinese Buffet' Green Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Wow these were amazing!!! Tasted soo much like at the chinese buffet that I'm going to be making them lots!! I love them when I go out so its a nice change to be able to have them at home!! Thanks for the great recipe!! EDIT: Ok I love these so much that I have also turned these into a veggie stir fry by adding mushrooms, chopped carrot & a can of baby corn (or any other veggies you want!) Sooo tasty, my hubby & I call dibs on the leftovers!!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2009
This was such an awesome recipe!!! I've never made homemade BBQ sauce before & I was a little worried but was feeling adventurous & wanted to try it since it had soo many great reviews & just plain sounded yummy!! I made the recipe exactly as called for but I did mine in the slow cooker. I made the sauce a day before hand & then marinated the ribs in it to give it more flavor soaked into the meat & make for an easy dinner the next night. Then the next day I put it in the slow cooker on low for the day. By lunch time when I came home to check on it the meat was falling off the bone already!! It was absolutley delicious!!! Almost as good as going out to the resturant! The only advice I have for doing it next time is I think I'll bake the ribs for about 10 min or so before I put them in the slow cooker cause the BBQ sauce was a little thinner than I liked & I think it was the grease from the ribs. So next time I'll cook them a little bit to get the grease out then slow cook them, that is the way to go to get that fall off the bone taste!!!! Great recipe I'll be using this from now on!!!!!

Maine Lobster Lasagna

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
I made this for my hubby & I & we just didn't care for it at all. Part of it was my fault since I accidently bought immitation lobster meat instead of the real thing so it gave it a rubbery texture. Although using canned alfredo sauce didn't exactly help! Neither one of us want this again any time soon.....but if I get brave enough I may try it again, because I think it could be really good with a good homemade alfredo sauce, real lobster meat & a little more spices as it lacked a bit of flavor.

I made these just the other night for my brother who is a mozzarella fanatic, they were great!! Almost as good as getting them at a resturant. They were quick & soo easy too!!! I didn't find them too messy or hard to do at all!! And I always have everything on hand...just need to grab the cheese!!!! Great appetizer :)

Buffalo Shrimp

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
Wow!!! These sure were spicy!!! They were a nice change from buffalo chicken which is one of my favorite meals!!! I tried to be a little healthier by grilling them but the batter didn't get real crunchy, but still not bad at all!!! Make sure you like it spicy though cause I love it the hotter the better & even I thought they were pretty darn hot!!!! Really yummy though :)

Jesse and Steve's Fresh Strawberry Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
YUMMY!!! I always use to make boxed cake when I wanted strawberry cake & I was looking for a homemade cake that didn't need geletin. This was awesome!!! The only suggestion I make is I think next time I will double the amount of strawberries to add more of that flavor to the cake since you really couldn't taste it & maybe even a teaspoon or so of strawberry extract. That would bring out the strawberry flavor a little more. But other than that great recipe!!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
These muffins were absolutley amazing!!! The best muffin recipe I've ever made!! They were so moist & yummy!!! I used frozen blueberries which is all I had on hand & they were still delicious. I would reccomend doubling the batter recipe though, I only made 6 big muffins & I had a ton of crumb topping left over. I did have a couple of my muffins sink in the middle, but that was because I had put too much topping on them. But overall great recipe & this is a keeper!!

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
Can I say Oh my goodness!!! I was a little worried from doing anything diffrent than the usual boiled dinner, but my hubby said anything with beer in it must be good lol! I'm not a big fan of the beer flavor & thought I was going to ruin dinner....but it was AWESOME!!! Best corned beef recipe ever! I will from now on be using this & only this recipe! And it couldn't have gotten any easier either! I did mine in a crock pot & the only issue I had was that I should of added more liquid, either in water or beer cause my veggies were still a little harder than I like. But even still it was delicious!!!

This is such an awesome dark chocolate cake! It came out sooo good & fudgey!! I was a little worried about using vinegar & coffee since I've never used either in a cake recipe before but it came out great! I made it this cake for my brother who's a chocoholic & he loved it!! I frosted it with white chocolate buttercream frosting & it was delicious!! This will be the cake recipe I will use for his b-day from now on!! Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Honey Wheat Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2009
This was such a good recipe!! This is only the 2nd bread recipe that I've made that actually came out good! Its definatley a keeper in my book!! The only thing is I didn't have evaporated milk or wheat flour so I used 1% milk & regular white bread flour. It came out sooo yummy! I can't wait to make it with whole wheat flour though, next time I think I'm going to double the honey too as other reviews said, cause I couldn't taste the sweetness a real lot. But definatley a keeper!!
