Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

My family really liked this. I used organic chicken tenders, covered with soup and sprinkled half of stuffing mix on top (no butter). Cooked on medium (3) for about 3 hours then add a layer of ham, then swiss and topped with remaining stuffing and sprinkled with 2T butter - stuffing came out great.

Penne Pasta with Veggies

My family really enjoyed this. We didn't bake...I prepared everything - it was warm and ready to go. I melted the butter and added as necessary. Baking may require more butter due to it drying out....Will definitley make again - I used prosciutto for the first time, and no one noticed it either way - don't feel that it's a necessity.

Stuffed Mexican Peppers

These were awesome! I used a can of Rotel like some suggested, and sprinkled with shredded instead of cubed cheese. I also put them in a crockpot - so the peppers softened. We had very small peppers from our garden. We sliced the stuffed peppers and ate them on a flour tortilla with some sour cream. They were terrific.

Avocado Feta Salsa

This was really good! However, I doubled the recipe and it still only made a very small batch. I would triple or quadruple if making this for a larger group of people. Will definitely make again - very addicting.

Rosemary Zucchini Sticks

I may have done something wrong - but these did not get crispy - this is usually what happens when I try to bake something and hope for a "fried" similiarity. Won't make again.

Cherry Cobbler I

This was good - I had to bake quite a bit longer, but that may be because the cherries were frozen. They were last years cherries and lost some of their flavor, but overall it was really great over ice cream. Next time I will add fresh peaches and/or blueberries.

Zucchini Galore

This was simple and tasty. Like other reviewers, I added whatever veggies i had, including green pepper and garlic. Also some Italian seasoning. I placed slices on provolone cheese on top and put the lid on to melt. It was really good - will definitely try with other veggies.

Spoiled Baby Back Ribs

WOW - These were AWESOME! I've never made ribs before thinking they would be tough. These were so tender and easy. I used bottled sauce, however the homeade one sounds really good too. No reason to wait for summer to grill ribs, when they can be made inside!

Pear Honey

This is definitely a keeper! I took a tip, and pureed the pears along with the juice beforehand - I didn't want chunks. After that I cooked on medium for about 1.5 hours in a porcelain pot - no scorching, but I was always in the kitchen and stirring FREQUENTLY. I only made half a batch so it was done a bit faster. Next time I will definitely turn it to simmer and try to cook longer as others suggested. It is great when warmed in the microwave.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

This was pretty good! Oops - I forgot the butter, but added a few tsp of water along with the chicken and dressing. I probably used half of the chicken suggested so the chicken was definitely done in under 3 hours - turned out great. I used half of the cream cheese and added a little milk I would definitley add sauteed mushrooms and possibly sauteed onion the next time... I would make this again.

Elaine's Sweet and Tangy Loose Beef BBQ

My husband and son really liked this - it did have a unique taste. I used a 2lb bottom round roast - there was very little fat waste. Also cooked for about 4 hours on high and the meat was shreddable - then I followed the recipe from there on.
