Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
This recipe was really easy to make and just what I needed for my party. I didn't use as much of the ranch packet. I even tried mixing cream cheese with ranch dressing (the sauce kind), and that worked out really well.

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2006
I decided to make this recipe for a party and made a few changes. Like others, I cut down the cooking time, omitted the oregano, and increased the lime juice. I served the cooked chicken filling on tortilla chips with lettuce and tomatoes, so my guests could build their own nachos. Quick and easy for parties. Next time, I will add more pepper to make it spicier.

Baked Ziti IV

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
I made this for a potluck and it was a huge hit! The changes I made to the recipe were that I mixed the bottom layer of noodles with a lot of sauce so that it wouldn't be dry (I ended up using 2 jars of sauce as well). I cut out the meat, and that wasn't problem at all. Don't skip the rosemary, though - it makes it taste so good! Yum, this was a great recipe, thanks!

Blackberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2006
Mmm, yummy recipe. I added canned mandarin oranges, sliced almonds, crunchy sesame seeds, and omitted the feta cheese. For a dressing, I used raspberry vinagrette. Make sure you prepare this right before serving, as it will get soggy (due to the dressing, juices from the fruits).

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2006
Guests commented on how healthy this dish felt. The salmon turned out nice and moist, although I wished it was more flavorful. I would make this again, although maybe would thicken the crust or marinate the salmon.

Ali's Amazing Bruschetta

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2006
Very delicious, disappeared quickly off the table. Would suggest broiling the bread prior to adding the topping in addition to broiling it with the topping. The bread was too chewy and would have tasted better if it was crunchier.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2006
Hi! This dish was INCREDIBLY quick to make. It tasted bland, though, and the flavor that stood out was the onion salt. I would make this with more lemon and add breadcrumbs to make the topping crunchy.

Peanut Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2006
Yum! I'm eating it right now! The changes I made were I ommited the vinegar (I didn't have any apple cider vinegar on hand), I doubled the ginger, and I added frozen veges. It's got a lot of flavor, and I don't think it's too thick. I'll be having this for lunch tomorrow! Thanks for the recipe!

Best Zucchini Appetizer

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
This recipe is less of an appetizer and more of a dish to serve your family when no company is over. It doesn't look appealing after baking, and I had to add incredible amounts of garlic and spices to make it flavorful. I won't be making this again.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2007
What a great cookie! Fresh out of the oven, the cookie was warm, gooey, and chewy on the inside. The next day, the cookie was crispy and still tasted delicious. My friend recommended this recipe and I'm so glad I made it.

Candy Cane Cocoa

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2007
Delicious, made this last night, and was a big hit. I couldn't find candy canes at the store, so instead I bought a york peppermint patty and dinner mints. I highly recoomend adding a york patty, as it really brings a strong peppermint flavor. I found peppermint whipping cream at the store, to my delight, which was a perfect topping. I decorated the cups with andes mint candies broken in half with a few dinner mints. SO delicious, I will make this again.

Jet Swirl Pizza Appetizers

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2007
These are very easy to make, but it cooks very unevenly, with the dough on the outside crunchy and the dough in the bordering on uncooked. As I sliced the roll, I found the center-most slices very difficult to cut because the dough was softer in the center.

BBQ Chicken Pizza I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2007
Yum! Cook this, people! I bought the pillsbury refridgerated pizza dough, precooked it for 8 minutes at 400F. I sauted the chicken with some vegetable oil till cooked. For the sauce, I used 3/4 cup of kraft hickory bbq sauce, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tsp mollasses and 2 tsp honey. I reserved some of the sauce to spread on the pizza crust, and put the rest of the sauce in with the chicken. Topped it with sliced red onions and mozzerella cheese, and cooked till the crust browned (about 15 minutes). Yum!

The cookie tastes just like the name describes. I followed it exactly, came out very well. I prefer the more browned cookie, the lighter colored ones had softer centers.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Turned out really well! I followed "Can't cook-can eat"'s review suggestions. I omitted any stock, just added some water, to make it a thicker soup. Very quick meal to prepare, just what I need!

Orzo and Tomato Salad with Feta Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
I had to cut down on the oil - I mixed everything but the oil, then poured it on as needed. I ended up using very little oil (probably 2-3 tbsp). It tasted really good, I will make this again for sure.

Quick and tasty! Totally recommend adding red pepper flakes to this, and chopping up some bok choy to add on (after tossing with noodles).

very healthy, somewhat bland. Keeps well and good for meals at home, not elegant enough for a dinner party.
